The Philippine adaptation of the Korean Drama STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

Stairway to Heaven (천국의 계단) with the is a Philippine Drama adapted from a Korean Drama same name; directed by Joyce Bernal and developed by Dode Cruz, their third team-up after the highly-successful Marimar and Dyesebel.

The series premiered on Sept. 14, 2009 in the Philippines via GMA NETWORK, starring Dingdong Dantes, Rhian Ramos, Glaiza De Castro and TJ Trinidad reprising the characters Cholo, Jodi, Eunice and Tristan.

Synopsis

Jodie and Cholo grew up together. They were always there for each other. Tragedy begins when Cholo begins his studies overseas without Jodi. Jodi's father remarries Maita, who takes in her two children, Tristan and Eunice, from a previous marriage with Dindo . Eunice is envious of the life that Jodi leads and is determined to take everything away from her, including Cholo. Tristan begins to develop feelings for his stepsister, however Jodi still loves Cholo.

Five years later, tragedy occurs when Jodi gets into a car accident causing her to lose her memory. Together with Tristan, they start a new. Cholo is led to believe that Jodi is dead, and Jodi is named as Jenna. So he came to a time when he was engaged to Eunice. However, when they meet again one day, he is determined to remind her of the love they had for one another.

Sinopsis Stairway To Heaven

Telenovela: Stairway To Heaven, mulai 20 September, Isnin - Khamis, jam 3.00petang

Siri drama Filipina yang mempunyai 30 episod ini mengisahkan perebutan kasih di kalangan adik beradik tiri, saksikan kegigihan Jodi dalam menempuh segala dugaan dalam hidupnya. Jodi dan Cholo saling menyayangi sejak zaman kanak-kanak. Cholo telah melamar kepada Jodi sebelum dia berangkat ke Amerika Syarikat. Jodi amat teruja dan mengimpikan sebuah majlis perkahwinan yang indah bersama Cholo. Namun, ibu tirinya, Maita dan adik tirinya, Eunice yang dengki terhadapnya telah merancang sesuatu bagi memusnahkan hidupnya. Tristan pula menyimpan perasaan terhadap kakak tirinya, Jodi.

Malangnya Jodi telah hilang ingatan selepas suatu kemalangan yang teruk. Kematian Jodi telah dipalsukan dan Cholo terpaksa menerima hakikat tersebut walaupun perit. Tristan mengambil kesempatan ini untuk memulakan kehidupan baru bersama Jodi yang dikenali sebagai Jenna. Manakala Eunice berusaha memenangi hati Cholo dan akhirnya mereka telah bertunang.

Walaupun begitu, Cholo masih tidak dapat melupakan Jodi kerana cintanya terhadap Jodi begitu mendalam. Takdir telah menemukan semula Cholo dan Jenna. Cholo amat yakin bahawa Jenna ialah Jodi dan dia tidak akan berputus asa untuk membuktikannya. Tiada halangan bagi Cholo untuk membongkar penipuan Maita dan Eunice demi cinta sejatinya.
