David Cook and David Archuleta will try their best to win the hearts of the people tonight live at 8pm Tuesday and Wednesday May 20 and 21, 2008 on Channel 9, CIVT, and Channel 15, Fox.

The "Finale" is finally here where David Archuleta and David Cook will be competing in their performance trying their very best to win the hearts of the people to vote for them on May 20 and 21, 2008.

After both of them managed to sail through from one week to another, finally they were both chosen last Wednesday on May 14, 2008 by American with 56 votes when the results of Syesha Mercado, the only female finalist left as the last person to be voted off before the "Finale Show".

This is the first time Top 2 American Idol having the same name. Both David Archuleta, 17 years old from Murray, Utah and David Cook, 25 year old from Blue Springs, Missouriare all prepared to perform at their very best singing three songs each.

According to sources, on Tuesday night's "Finale", the top 2, David Archuleta and David Cook will sing two brand new songs in addition to the original song that will end up as the winner's first single. Isn't that nice?

The American Idol's Top 2 season 7 finalists will take the stage at the Nokia Theatre, which is at the center of Los Angeles' L.A. Live. It is a new four million square-foot complex which features a studio audience seating capacity of 7,000 that was opened last October in 2007.

David Archuleta and David Cook will compete head-to-head for the Idol crown where they will both perform singing at their very best during the series' two-night grand finale one-hour broadcast live on Tuesday, May 20 at 8PM ET live/PT tape-delayed.

The following night, May 21 2008, beginning at 8PM ET/PT (Wednesday, at 9pm ET - Season Finale), the American Idol Season 7 winner will be revealed at the closing of a live two-hour music celebration broadcast live too where the the next American Idol will be crowned.

Besides that, "The Grand Finale" show will also feature special performances, surprise guests and we are able to watch The Top 12 finalists reunite on stage again one more time before America's votes are announced. One of the two finalist will be crowned the next American Idol on the two-hour Season Finale.Which David will be named as this season American Idol?

During the last season " Live Finale" broadcast which was also in May at the Kodak Theatre, about an average of 30.7 million total viewers watched Jordin Sparks crowned as the sixth-season American Idol. What about this season?
