Who will be in the top 7 of American Idol Season 7. This is American Idol Top 8 results:
Yesterday was "Idol Gives Back" and since last year nobody was eliminated the following day, I thought it would be the same but somehow I just guessed it wrong. I was getting anxious waiting for the results since this morning, Malaysia will only get to see the results over Astro Channel 711, StarWorld this evening at 6pm.
The results show started off with the top 8 finalists singing "Shout to the Lord".
Next three finalists were announced safe by the host Ryan Seacrest. They are Brooke White who came out to the stage first, then David Cook and David Archuleta. Three of them are in the top 7 of American Idol Season 7.
Then Jordin Sparks(Winner of American Idol Season 6) and Chris Brown perform "No Air". After the performance, Jason Castro and Kristy Lee Cook were also safe and they joined the other three finalists to the next top 7.
The final three finalists who went up the stage were the bottom three.

Michael Johns
Carly Smithson
I was in a shocked for a while. I have never thought that Michael Johns would be the one who was voted off and had to pack his bag home leaving the rest of the other top 7 finalists? Did America made the wrong choice this week? He shouldn't be out just yet.
Michael Johns did not get enough votes to be in the top 7 of American Idol Season 7. So sad I can't see him perform again next week.
It has never crossed my mind that Michael Johns was eliminated this week. So sad. I wonder who will be the one leaving the American Idol next? I hope it will not be one of my favourites.
Next week the American Idol top 7 will take the stage again and I as usual I just wonder if they are singing songs by Mariah Carey as mentioned few days back. All the best to the Top 7 of American Idol Season 7. They are:
