Synopsis

Deokman (later known as Queen Seon Deok) was born as a twin but was abandoned as a baby. She was later brought back to the Silla palace, where she joined forces with her twin sister Princess Cheonmyeng to oppose Mi-shil, who wanted to seize power. Mi-shil devised sinister plans to have the two Silla princesses exiled from the kingdom, and in a secretive battle, Princess Chonmyong was assassinated by Mi-shil. However, Princess Deokman shrewdly enlisted the help of General Kim Yusin and eliminated her archenemy Mi-shil. She became the first female ruler of the Silla kingdom.

Yushin (Uhm Tae-woong) benar-benar serius, ia menyatakan siap mendampingi Deokman (Lee Yo-won) sebagai seorang bawahan dan tidak akan bersikap kurang ajar lagi atau memperlakukan Deokman bagai seorang pria memperlakukan wanita yang dicintainya.

Ucapan Yushin membuat hati Deokman seperti ditusuk-tusuk, ia langsung membalikkan badan untuk meninggalkan tempat itu. Tiba-tiba Yushin menarik tangan Deokman, dan langsung memeluknya sambil mencucurkan air mata. Deokman sadar bahwa itulah saat terakhir dirinya bisa berdekatan dengan Yushin sebagai seorang pribadi.

Mampu menduga kalau pasukan Mishil (Go Hyeon-jeong) bakal menekan rakyat Gaya setelah mereka kedapatan berbohong soal lokasi Bokyahwei, Deokman memerintahkan Yushin untuk mengorganisir pengungsian besar-besaran dari wilayah Samyang menuju Amyang, tanah yang telah diberikan Yushin sekaligus tempat tinggal rakyat Gaya yang baru.

Langkah berikut Deokman adalah meyakinkan Guru Wolcheon untuk membantunya, tugas tersebut tidaklah mudah. Saat hendak mulai menginterogasi, Deokman mendadak teringat dengan sosok Seolji (Jung Ho-geun), yang pernah dikenalnya saat baru datang ke Seorabol. Seolji juga tidak kalah kaget, ia tidak menyangka gadis remaja yang pernah mendatangkan hujan kini ada dihadapannya.

Meski menjadi tahanan, Guru Wolcheon bergeming dan malah membalikkan pertanyaan Deokman soal apa yang membedakan gadis itu dengan Mishil dan apa yang membuat pria tua itu tergerak hatinya. Sempat menuturkan apa yang menjadi idealismenya, Deokman menyodorkan buku almanak bangsa Wei dan meminta Guru Wolcheon menentukan sendiri apa yang harus dilakukan.

Rupanya, Deokman bisa menebak bahwa sebagai seorang ilmuwan, satu-satunya kelemahan Guru Wolcheon adalah rasa ingin tahu. Begitu pria itu mulai membaca almanak, maka hal berikut yang bakal dilakukannya adalah memperhitungkan kapan terjadi gerhana matahari.

Di kediamannya, Mishil marah besar saat diberitahu bangsa Gaya tidak ada di tempat pengasingan mereka. Yang membuatnya kaget, ternyata Deokman bisa tahu soal Guru Wolcheon yang ternyata berada tangan gadis itu.

Rencana Deokman mulai mendapat hambatan ketika Guru Wolcheon menolak membantunya. Saat bincang-bincang, baru ketahuan kalau alasan pria itu kerap membantu Mishil adalah karena ia berhutang budi dengan mendiang Sadaham.

Dipusingkan oleh penolakan Guru Wolcheon, Deokman dibuat gembira oleh kemunculan Jukbang (Lee Moon-shik), Godo (Ryu Dam), dan dua rekannya di klan Kembang Naga. Kejutan didapatkan oleh keempatnya ketika Yushin memberitahu kalau Deokman adalah seorang putri, sehingga otomatis mereka harus memberi hormat.

Keesokan harinya di istana, Raja Jinpyeong (Jo Min-ki) dihebohkan oleh banyaknya burung yang mati di halaman istana dan patahnya papan nama balai pertemuan. Rupanya, kehebohan tersebut adalah bagian dari rencana Deokman. Rencana berikutnya kembali melibatkan burung, dan kali ini yang banyak berperan adalah Bidam (Kim Nam-gil).

Rencana Deokman tersusun rapi, ia telah berpikir beberapa langkah kedepan dengan mengutus Yushin ke istana demi meminta bantuan Ratu Maya (Yoon Yoo-sun) seputar masalah prasasti berisi ramalan tentang anak kembar yang bakal membawa bencana.

Rakyat kembali dihebohkan ketika sumur Najung yang dianggap keramat memuntahkan darah, mereka meminta Mishil untuk melakukan upacara persembahan demi menghilangkan kemarahan dari langit. Waktu terus berjalan, Deokman masih terus berusaha meyakinkan Guru Wolcheon untuk membantunya.

Dengan berat hati, Raja Jinpyeong memohon Mishil untuk menuruti kehendak rakyat. Di saat pemegang segel kerajaan itu menggelar upacara persembahan, Yushin berhasil mendapat salinan prasasti peninggalan leluhur Shilla (berisi tentang ramalan bayi kembar) yang hanya tinggal separuh bagian.

Usaha Deokman menemui hasil, ia berhasil mendapatkan kepastian kapan gerhana matahari bakal terjadi. Namun ketika ditanya, ia mengaku hanya akan memberitahunya ke Bidam, yang tengah bersiap untuk menjalankan rencana terbaru sang putri.

Setelah sempat dihebohkan oleh banyaknya burung yang beterbangan di atas istana mendiang Putri Cheonmyeong, paginya seorang pria bertopeng berada didepan sumur Najung. Dengan kemampuannya, ia berhasil memunculkan bagian terakhir dari prasasti leluhur Shilla.

Kejadian tersebut sontak membuat rencana Mishil berantakan, para prajurit langsung diperintahkan untuk mengepung sumur Najung. Mata Mishil langsung membelalak kaget saat membaca apa isinya, yang meramalkan gerhana matahari bakal menandakan kemunculan putri kedua Raja Jinpyeong yang bakal membawa kemakmuran bagi Shilla.

Hanya dengan sekali lihat, Mishil dapat menebak bahwa prasasti tersebut adalah palsu. Ia langsung memerintahkan Bojong (Baek Do-bin) untuk meringkus pria bertopeng yang tidak lain adalah Bidam yang menyamar.

Di istana, raja Jinpyeong sangat kaget saat diberitahu bahwa bagian kedua dari prasasti peninggalan leluhur Shilla telah muncul. Sempat nyaris percaya, akhirnya Ratu Maya memberitahu bahwa kemungkinan besar prasasti tersebut adalah buatan Deokman.

Rupanya Bidam mengemban misi khusus dari Deokman, ia harus menyakinkan Mishil kalau gerhana matahari bakal terjadi meski sesungguhnya hal itu tidak akan menjadi kenyataan. Misi tersebut tentunya tidak mudah, karena taruhannya adalah nyawa Bidam sendiri. Akhirnya, Bidam dan Mishil saling berhadapan.

Yu Shin berbicara secara pribadi dengan Deok Man. Kim Yu Shin berkata bahwa untuk melayani Raja akan mengambil semua kesetiaannya untuk Raja. Begitu pula dengan cintanya pada Deok Man mengambil semua kesetiaannya padanya tapi Yu Shin tidak tahu bagaimana memisahkannya, itulah mulai saat ini semua emosinya untuk Deok Man dan semua perasaannya untuk Deok Man sebagai pria akan berakhir.

Kim Yu shin akan melayaninya, menolongnya, dan akan memimpin untuknya tapi dia tidak akan pernah mencintai Deok Man seperti seharusnya seorang pria. Meskipun Kim Yu shin memilihnya tapi Deok Man sudah memilih takhta daripada dirinya, hanya itulah pilihan yang dapat diambilnya dan sekarang ia akan melayani Deok Man sebagai penguasa atau majikannya. Deok Man terpukul dengan perkataan bahwa tanpa cara itu tidak ada cara lain dia dapan memberikan hatinya untuk Deok Man dan selain cara itu Deok Man juga tidak punya pilihan untuk menerima perasaan Yu Shin.

Kim Yu shin meminta Deok Man mulai sekarang mereka tidak dapat saling mendukung seperti orang biasa bahkan jika Yu Shin ada disisinya karena aturan protokoler tidak mengijinkannya. Kim Yu shin berkata Deok Man tidak ingin membuatnya menjadi bidak caturnya tapi penderitaan Deok Man lebih besar daripada dirinya. Ini karena Yu shin adalah subyek Deok Man dan sebagai subyek, maka akan ada sesuatu yang mereka berikan untuk majikannya. Ini yang ia pelajari dari Deok Man. Yu shin merasa sebagai penguasa dia harus memberi harapan pada rakyatnya, maka Yu Shin akan melakukannya karena ia memiliki mimpi yang sama dengan Deok Man.

Deok Man akan berjalan dalam jalan yang gelap tapi Deok Man tidak perlu takut karena Yu shin akan mengikutinya dalam suka dan duka. Yu shin tidak dapat memerintahnya lagi atau memintanya mengikat kantung pasir, tidak dapat menggenggam tangannya, ini adalah pilihan jalan yang ia ambil. Deok Man pergi tapi Kim Yu shin menahan tangannya dan menarik Deok Man ke dalam pelukannya dan memeluknya erat dan hal ini sangat menyakitkan Kim Yu Shin karena dia hanya dapat melakukannya sekali ini saja untuk terakhir kalinya. Deok Man berkata pada dirinya sendiri bahwa ini adalah terakhir kalinya mereka dapat berpelukan, kemudian dia akan menjalani jalan ini sendiri.

Al Cheon bertanya apa yang terjadi sampai terjadi persekutuan dengan Bo Gya Hoe. Kim Yu shin berkata, ia memberikan tanah keluarganya di Anyang Ju kepada Bo Gya Hoe. Deok Man bertanya bagaimana dengan Wyol Cheon. Yu shin berkata mereka akan mengambil alih Wyol Cheon. Deok Man minta Yu shin untuk melindungi pengungsi Gaya di distrik Da Gil agar tidak dibantai oleh Bo Jong. Deok Man yakin Seol won Rang akan menyerang Samyang Ju. Kim Yu shin menerima perintah Deok Man dan Deok Man akan bertemu Wyol Cheon.

Seo Ji menanyakan niat Kim Yu shin dan rumor mengenai putri kembar. Wyol Ya membenarkan bahwa Yu Shin memang Kim Yu Shin melayani putri kembar yang satu lagi. Seo Ji merasa sangat sulit bagi Deok Man untuk diakui sebagai Putri. Wyol Ya memutuskan untuk menunggu dan melihat, karena tanah Anyang Ju yang diberikan Yu Shin itu bagus untuk pertanian. wyol Ya merasa sekarang cukup untuk bekerja dengan Kim Yu shin saja.

Kim Yu shin memerintahkan untuk menyelamatkan penduduk Gaya dari Samyang Ju dan menempatkan mereka di Anyang Ju. Wyol Ya berkata karena Yu Shin memberikan tanah keluarga pada mereka bukan berarti dia mendapat kesetiaan mereka. Yu shin mengerti, kecuali Kim Yu Shin mengkhianati mereka, maka Wyol Ya harus menghormati persekutuan mereka. Kim Yu shin berkata wyol Ya dapat menjadi tentara pribadinya.

Seo Ji membawa wyol Cheon menghadap Deok Man. Deok Man mengenali Seo ji adalah pemimpin kaum pemberontak di benteng Manno waktu itu. Seo Ji juga mengenali Deok Man sebagai anak yang mendatangkan hujan. Deok Man berdiri dan memberi salam pada Seo Ji. Seo Ji senang sekali apalagi Deok Man ternyata adalah putri kembar. Seo Ji merasa ini takdir. Deok Man bertanya apa yang terjadi setelah ia pergi. Seo Ji bercerita bahwa kampung pemberontak dihancurkan. Dia beruntung diselamatkan oleh kelompok Bo Gya Hoe. Seo Ji senang sekali bertemu Deok Man dan hatinya penuh rasa terima kasih. Sebelum pergi, Seo Ji berkata pada wyol Cheon kalau bukan karena Deok Man ingin bertemu, kau pasti sudah mati. Jadi wyol Cheon harus membantu Deok Man. Seo Ji tidak percaya ia dapat bertemu Deok Man lagi di dunia ini.

Mi Shil mendapat laporan dari Seol won bahwa Wyol Cheon ada di perkampungan Gaya. Mi Shil heran bagaimana rakyat Gaya dapat mengecoh Seol won, Mi shil minta mereka dihukum agar mereka belajar tidak melecehkan Seol won dan Mi Shil.

Deok Man bertanya pada Wyol Cheon kapan gerhana matahari akan terjadi. Deok Man minta wyol Cheon melakukan perhitungan aritmatika untuknya. Wyol Cheon berkata susah melakukan perhitungan itu dengan sistem Dae Myeong. Deok Man memberikan salinan jeong Gwang Ryeol miliknya. Wyol Cheon menolak mengapa ia harus membantu Deok Man. Deok Man berkata perhitungan gerhana bulan waktu itu sudah mengakibatkan penderitaan untuk rakyat Gaya. Sebagai orang yang berasal dari Gaya dan seorang ilmuwan, mengapa Wyol Cheon melakukan itu. Wyol Cheon berkata apa pandai besi bertanggungjawab untuk pedang yang mencabut nyawa. Deok Man berkata pandai besi itu bertanggung jawab atas orang yan membeli pedangnya, haruskah ia menjual pedang pada orang yang akan menggunakan pedangnya untuk kepentingan pribadi.

Wyol Cheon tertawa dan bertanya apa bedanya Deok Man dengan permintaannya. Wyol Cheon berkata, Deok Man disini untuk mengalahkan Mi Shil. Wyol Cheon berkata orang yang terlibat dalam politik sama saja. Orang dengan kemampuan matematis dan science akan dimanipulasi oleh politikus. Wyol Cheon bertanya apa alasan ia harus membantu Deok Man. Deok Man harus berpikir cepat.

Seol Won tiba di Samyang Ju dan menemukan tempat itu kosong. Seol Won kaget ketika Bo Jong melaporkan tidak ada seorangpun di desa itu. Kemudian Seok Bum berteriak pada Seol won Rang dan Bo Jong untuk melihat sesuatu. Ada pesan : Pendeta Wyol Cheon sudah berada di tanganku. Deok Man.

Seorang nangdo datang membawa tasbih doa Wyol Cheon. Seol won Rang bertanya apa benar Deok Man mendapatkan Wyol Cheon.

Wyol Cheon berdiam diri dan Deok Man meninggalkan Jeong Gwang Ryeong di meja. Wyol cheon melihat isi buku dan ia ingat Deok Man berkata bahwa jika buku ini tidak membantu Wyol Cheon maka buku ini tidak berguna untuk Deok Man. Sekarang terserah Wyol Cheon, mau menggunakannya atau menghancurkannya, terserah padanya.

Bi Dam bertanya pada Deok Man apa Wyol Cheon akan membaca buku itu. Deok Man berkata Wyol Cheon itu ilmuwan dan ia tidak akan tahan jika melihat buku berisi ilmu dan keingintahuannya akan membunuhnya. Jika Wyol cheon membacanya maka ia akan melakukan perhitungan untuk gerhana matahari.

Seol Won Rang membawa pesan Deok Man kepada Mi Shil. Mi Saeng membenarkan tasbih itu memang milik wyol Cheon. Mi shil marah dengan insiden ini. Mi Shil bertanya bagaimana Deok Man tahu mengenai Wyol Cheon. seol Won berkata Deok Man tidak ada dengan Bo Gya Hoe. Seol Won Rang bertanya apa Wyol Cheon yang mengatur Sadaham. Mi Shil mengiyakan. Kalau begitu Seol Won harus menemukan Wyol Cheon karena Seo Ri sudah mati.

Bi Dam bertanya mengenai asal ramalan tentang kelahiran putri kembar. Al Cheon (Tirza: yang sepertinya sudah jadi guru sejarah pribadi Bi Dam ha..ha) menceritakan kisah yang ia dapat dari ayahnya. Saat leluhur Hyeokgeose hampir meninggal, dia mengukir batu dan menulis ramalan. Batu itu sekarang disimpan di perpustakaan istana. Bi dam bertanya bagaimana orang biasa dapat tahu mengenai ramalan itu.

Yu shin dan Al Cheon menjelaskan selama pemerintahan Raja Silseop, Raja ke-18 Silla, Kim Nulji (yang kemudian menjadi Raja ke-19) mengadakan pemberontakan, saat Kim Nulji mengejar Raja Silseop, raja Silseop membawa batu ramalan bersamanya. Saat Raja Silseop jatuh, batu itu terbelah dan yang tertinggal di mayat Raja Silseop adalah potongan batu dengan kalimat Eochul Ssangsaeng Seonggol Nam Jin (Tirza: berarti kemungkinan besar, ramalannya keliru..karena tidak utuh kan?)

Bi Dam berkata ada kalimat lain dalam ramalan batu itu. Al Cheon mengiyakan tapi ramalan yang lain hilang. Bi Dam berkata apa yang muncul setelah kalimat itu pasti akan mengubah nasib mereka. Al Cheon berkata mungkin saja. Deok Man mendapat ide saat Bi Dam berkata kita harus menemukan batu yang sebagian itu. Deok man berkata bagaimana menemukan sesuatu yang hilang 200 tahun lalu. Al Cheon berkata orang2 meributkan kehadiran puteri kembar karena selebaran. Yu shin merasa mereka harus menemukan batu ramalan itu secepatnya.

Deok Man minta Yu Shin mengumpulkan anggota Yonghwa Hyangdo karena mereka harus segera bertindak. Mi saeng berkata Wyol Cheon tidak akan membantu Deok Man, karena dia sudah berkata bahwa gerhana matahari susah diprediksi. Mi shil dan Mi saeng berencana bahwa keberadaan putri kembar harus dikemukakan, mereka tidak bisa hanya duduk dan menunggu Wyol Cheon. Mi shil meminta Pendeta agung yang baru Seol Mae untuk menemuinya. Joo Bang dan Go do masih dalam persembunyian mereka. Mereka tidak tahu apa yang akan terjadi karena mereka dalam pelarian. Kemudian Dae Pung dan Guk San Heun datang dan tersenyum pada mereka. Go Do meminta makanan. Kim Yu Shin juga datang dan menyapa mereka. Joo Bang dan Go Do sangat senang bertemu Yu Shin, mereka memeluk Yu Shin.

Joo Bang bertanya apa yang terjadi. Yu Shin minta mereka mengikutinya. Joo Bang bertanya mengenai Deok Man, Kim Yu Shin menjawab ia akan menjelaskan sambil jalan.

Deok Man menemui Wyol Cheon, Wyol Cheon benar2 tergoda untuk membaca Jeong Gwang Ryeong. Wyol Cheon berkata, keluarganya adalah ahli astronomi Kerajaan Gaya, tapi saat Daegaya jatuh, yang pertama terjadi adalah keluarganya dimusnahkan oleh Kerajaan. wyol Cheon menjadi saksi kematian ayahnya sendiri. Wyol Cheon bertanya mengapa keluarga Raja Daegaya melakukan itu. Deok Man berkata pembunuhan itu untuk mencegah Silla menguasai pengetahuan astronomi Gaya. wyol Cheon juga hampir terbunuh, tapi ia diselamatkan oleh Sadaham dan ia dibebaskan.

Wyol Cheon tahu ia diperalat Mi Shil. Ia bersedia karena ia merasa berhutang budi pada Sadaham bukan pada Mi Shil. Deok Man tahu, tapi Mi Shil menggunakannya untuk memusnahkan rakyat Gaya dari dunia. Wyol Cheon merasa itu bukan persoalannya. wyol Cheon juga tahu Deok Man akan menggunakan pengetahuan yang sama untuk tujuan yang sama. Itu bukan ide buruk, tapi ia melihat tidak ada alasan mengapa ia harus bergabung. Deok Man tidak dapat membujuk Wyol Cheon.

Joo Bang memasuki kamp Bo Gya hoe dan melihat Deok Man. Mereka berlari dan memeluk Deok Man. Al Cheon mengingatkan Joo Bang tentang aturan protokoler. Joo Bang memberi salam pada al cheon, tapi mereka sudah lama tidak bertemu bagaimana Al Cheon dapat berkata seperti itu. Al Cheon minta semua anggota Yonghwa untuk menjaga aturan karena Deok Man memang benar Putri Raja silla. Deok Man membenarkan itu sebabnya Deok Man membutuhkan bantuan mereka. Joo Bang hanya dapat melongo saat Kim Yu shin masuk dan bertanya apa mereka sudah bertemu Putri Deok Man. Kim Yu Shin minta anggota Yonghwa untuk memberi hormat kapada Putri Deok Man.

Semua berlutut menyembahnya, Deok Man sebenarnya tidak suka teman2nya berlaku seperti ini, tapi Al Cheon berkata ini protokoler dan mereka harus mematuhinya. (Tirza: Al Cheon really a protocoler freaks..) Kim yu shin bertanya apa perintah Deok Man untuk anggota Yonghwa. Deok Man minta mereka mengumpulkan tulang manusia dan air seni kucing. Kim Yu shin bertanya untuk apa semua itu. Deok Man berkata mereka harus segera mencarinya. (Tirza: ada yang tahu cara mencari pipis kucing??)

Joo Bang mengatakan pada Yu shin mereka bertemu dengan So Hwa, ibu Deok Man yang dikira meninggal di gurun. Go do mengkonfirmasi cerita Joo Bang, mereka ditahan bersama. So Hwa terjatuh saat melarikan diri, sekarang mereka tidak tahu So Hwa masih hidup atau sudah mati. Kim Yu shin minta mereka merahasiakan ini. Go Do merasa Deok Man berhak tahu, tapi Yu shin berkata jika Deok Man tahu, ia akan mengalami trauma lagi. Semua patuh dan merahasiakan hal ini.

Sementara itu, beberapa orang bertopeng menyebar mayat burung2. Paginya, Raja heran melihat banyaknya mayat burung di halaman istana. Kim Seo Hyeon merasa ada yang aneh. Ini adalah akal2an Mi shil. se Jong berkata ini adalah pertanda buruk. Ha jOng melapor bahwa menara signal hancur. Kim Yong Chu berkata bahwa kematian burung2 itu peristiwa alam dan menara itu memang sudah tua dan lapuk.

Seol Mae berkata itu pertanda buruk dan kejahatan akan menimpa keluarga Raja. Kim Seo Hyeon minta Seol Mae berhati-hati. Ha Jong berkata hal yang sama terjadi di luar pagar istana. Raja heran. Seol Mae dan Se Jong berkata bahwa burung2 itu menabrak makam Raja terdahulu dan mati.

Kim Yu Shin melaporkan kejadian yang dianggap pertanda buruk pada keluarga Raja. Al Cheon berkata bahwa Mi Shil pasti yang merancang semuanya. Deok Man tersenyum. Joo Bang menghadap, setelah memberi hormat, ia lapor bahwa mereka sudah mendapat yang diminta Deok Man. Deok man sekarang minta mereka menangkap burung2 yang masih hidup. Joo Bang heran dengan permintaan aneh Deok Man. Deok Man minta mereka menangkap sebanyak mungkin. Mereka harus menangkapnya hidup2. Bi Dam berkata jika mengenai burung, ia ahli menangkapnya. Joo Bang melihat Bi Dam berlaku biasa pada Deok Man. Joo Bang bertanya bagaimana menangkap burung hidup2. Bi Dam berkata pertama mereka harus dipancing dengan buah. Burung2 itu suka dengan buah. Deok Man minta Al Cheon membantu mereka. Kim Yu shin bertanya apa tugasnya. Deok Man ingin Kim Yu shin mengunjungi keluarganya.

Kim Yu shin mengunjungi ibunya. Putri Man Myeong bertanya apa Yu Shin mendengar kejadian aneh di istana akhir2 ini. Putri Man Myeong merasa ini pasti perbuatan Mi Shil lagi. Kim Yu Shin memohon ibunya mengerti apa yang ia pertaruhkan. Ibunya mengerti, lalu apa yang Kim Yu Shin inginkan. Yu Shin ingin ibunya memberikan surat pada Ratu Maya. Putri Man Myeong mengerti. Ratu Maya membaca surat Deok Man. Deok Man sudah menyebut dirinya sebagai anak Ratu Maya. Putri Man Myeong khawatir jika masalah ini diketahui, tapi Ratu Maya akan tetap membantu tidak peduli kondisi atau aturannya (I love u Mom..). Putri Man Myeong khawatir tapi Ratu akan melakukannya.

Kim Yu shin melapor bahwa Ratu Maya setuju membantu mereka. Deok Man berkata sampai dengan saat ini, ia belum bisa memanggilnya ibu. Kim Yu shin berkata biarpun dia belum memanggilnya ibu, Ratu Maya benar2 ibunya. Deok Man berkata bahwa ibu yang membesarkannya di gurun juga sama. Semua ibu sama. Deok Man berkata Wyol Cheon tidak mau membantunya. Deok man berkata ia tidak dapat membujuk Wyol Cheon karena yang dikatakan Wyol Cheon benar.

Yu shin berkata Deok Man harus tahu apa yang diinginkan Wyol Cheon. Sama jika nanti Deok Man memerintah, ia harus tahu apa keinginan rakyatnya. Sama seperti seorang ibu yang mengetahui apa yang diperlukan anaknya. Kim Yu Shin meminta Deok Man untuk menggunakan perspektif hati seorang ibu untuk mengetahui hati rakyatnya, ini yang harus dimengerti Deok Man.

Hari berikutnya, Sumur Najeong penuh dengan darah. Mi Saeng, Kim Yong Chu dan Seol Mae datang menyelidiki. Im Jong lapor bahwa penjaga yang menjaga sumur melihat sumur itu menumpahkan darah. Raja mengadakan rapat mengenai semua yang terjadi. Mi Saeng berkata Mi shil harus keluar untuk menenangkan surga. Dewan setuju bahwa Mi shil harus melakukannya. Raja tidak punya pilihan selain meminta Mi shil melakukan tugasnya menenangkan surga. Mi shil akan mengadakan ritual selama 7 hari di kuil Istana. Raja tahu itu semua hanya show saja.

Ha jong mengira ibunya memiliki kekuatan surgawi dan memiliki kemurahan surga sehingga akan mendapat wahyu. Mi Saeng membenarkannya, Mi saeng tahu itu cuma akal2an tapi Se Jong dan Ha jong tidak tahu. Seol won bertanya apa wahyunya juga termasuk pewaris takhta selanjutnya.

Deok Man perlu Wyol Cheon membantunya dengan perhitungan gerhana matahari. Mi shil menyelesaikan rencananya, kemudian Deok Man mendapat tanggal gerhana matahari dari Wyol Cheon. Kim Yu shin bertanya apa akan terjadi gerhana dan Deok Man mengiyakan. Wyol Ya bertanya kapan, tapi Deok Man hanya akan memberikan tanggalnya pada Bi Dam. Deok Man bertanya pada Al Cheon apa mereka menangkap burung itu hidup2 karena mereka harus melaksanakan rencananya malam ini. Kim Yu shin berkata bahwa kacang kedelai dan salinan ramalan dari arang juga ada. Deok Man berkata bagus dan mereka dapat melaksanakan rencananya.

Joo Bang dan Go Do melewatkan waktu dengan bermain. Seo ji lewat dan mengenali Joo Bang. Joo Bang juga mengenali Seo Ji. Joo Bang menyangkal mengenali Seo Ji. Deok Man datang dan meminta Joo Bang melakukan sesuatu untuknya, Deok man minta Joo Bang memalsukan sesuatu untuknya. Joo Bang mengambil kesempatan ini untuk melepaskan diri dari Seol Ji.

Deok Man menemui Bi Dam yang memakai riasan untuk efek. Deok man berkata ini giliran Bi Dam untuk menjalankan rencananya. Deok Man membantu Bi Dam merias wajah dan dia menjelaskan tentang Mi shil. Deok Man berkata bahwa Bi Dam tidak memiliki rasa takut jadi ia pasti sukses. Bi dam bertanya mengapa Deok Man tidak melakukan ini sendiri, Bi dam bertanya apa Mi shil itu begitu menakutkan. Deok Man berkata ia harus menghadapi Mi shil, Mi shil tidak mampu membaca pikirannya, Bi Dam juga tidak boleh membiarkan Mi shil membaca pikirannya. Bi Dam meyakinkan Deok Man agar tidak cemas. Bi dam bertanya kapan gerhana matahari akan terjadi.

Deok Man berkata ini harus dirahasiakan. Deok Man mengatakannya pada Bi Dam. Sementara itu, di malam hari orang2 di istana melihat burung2 yang bercahaya beterbangan di langit malam dari kediaman mendiang Putri cheon Myeong. Semua heran. Kemudian di luar istana, rakyat juga melihat burung2 yang bercahaya beterbangan di malam hari.
Dae Pung dan Guk San Heun melihat burung2 itu dan terpesona dengan efek yang ditimbulkan. Mereka yang melepas burung2 yang telah dilumuri cat campuran tulang manusia dengan urine kucing (Tirza: flourecent alami, tulang manusia mengandung calcium dan phosphor, ini sebabnya gigi kita bersinar dalam gelap, urine kucing bereaksi dengan sinar Ultra Violet, kemungkinan dapat bersinar setelah kontak dengan sinar UV. Kaya acara MTV Room raiders yg periksa tmp tidur pake sinar UV ). Dae Pung heran darimana Deok Man tahu mengenai campuran cat ini. Guk san Heun melarang Dae Pung memanggil Deok Man hanya dengan namanya saja.

Mi saeng terkejut saat Seol Mae melaporkan bahwa dari kediaman mendiang Putri ada sekelompok burung bercahaya terbang. Mi Saeng mengira itu perbuatan Seol Mae. Seol Mae mengira itu kerjaan Mi Saeng. Mi Saeng benar2 heran.

Seol won Rang datang dan berkata ada seseorang yang melakukan ritual di depan sumur Najeong yang sudah menumpahkan darah. Seol Won merasa ini tidak biasa karena orang ini menyalakan dupa dengan tangan kosong dan orang2 mulai mempercayainya. Mi Saeng heran ini bukan rencana mereka. Seol Won berkata orang ini datang ke Silla untuk membebaskan Silla dari bencana dan sekarang mulai mengadakan ritual di depan sumur Najeong.

Bi Dam dalam penyamarannya melakukan ritual di depan sumur. Bi Dam menggunakan kaca pembesar Deok Man untuk menyalakan api. Mi Shil menghadap Raja dan mengatakan ia mendapat wahyu. Bi Dam melakukan spesial efek dengan memunculkan ukiran dari dalam sumur dengan ledakan keras. Rakyat berlutut didepan ukiran, ada 5 baris kalimat dan Bi Dam tersenyum karena ia telah berhasil sejauh ini.

Mi saeng kesal karena ada yang mengalahkan mereka. Seol won sudah menyingkirkan ukiran di sumur Najeong tapi rumor sudah tersebar. Mi shil bertanya siapa yang melakukan ini dan apa tulisannya. Seol Won Rang berkata itu adalah bagian ke-2 dari ramalan yang hilang 200 tahun lalu. Kata2 Eochul Ssangsaeng Seonggol Nam Jin adalah kalimat yang mengikutinya. Mi saeng tahu Bi Dam menggunakan cara yang sama dengannya. Sekarang seseorang telah membuktikan bahwa Mi Shil penipu dan dia tidak dapat menyangkalnya. Bi Dam dibawa ke persidangan untuk diadili. Bi Dam ingat Deok Man memberinya surat untuk dibawa. Deok Man berkata tidak akan ada gerhana matahari dalam waktu dekat. Deok Man berkata Mi Shil tidak tahu apa Wyol Cheon membantunya atau tidak jadi, Deok Man minta agar Bi Dam berkata bahwa gerhana matahari akan terjadi dan membuat Mi Shil percaya padanya. Bi Dam harus memainkan permainan ini.

Deok Man berkata jika gagal, Bi Dam mungkin akan mati. Bi Dam tersenyum saat Deok Man berkata Bi Dam harus melarikan diri. Mi Shil menemui Bi Dam (pertama kali ibu dan anak bertemu).

Ratu Maya membaca bagian-2 dari ramalan dan bertanya-tanya apa itu benar. Putri Man Myeong berkata ini adalah satu2nya cara membuat Deok Man mendapat kembali statusnya. Ratu berkata bahwa bintang Gaeyang yang kembali ke surga adalah Cheon Myeong. Bintang Gaeyang yang akan mendirikan pemerintahan baru adalah Deok Man.

Raja bertanya bagaimana ramalan yang dikira hilang 200 tahun lalu tiba2 muncul. Kim Yong Chu dan Kim Seo Hyeon mengartikan bahwa pemerintahan baru akan muncul dari bintang Gaeyang. Raja bertanya siapa yang dimaksud dengan bintang Gaeyang, kemudian Ratu Maya datang dan berkata itu pasti ramalan mengenai Deok Man. Raja terkejut bahwa orang itu mungkin adalah Deok Man. Kim Seo Hyeon meragukan keaslian batu itu. Ratu dan Putri Man Myeong berkata itu adalah buatan Deok Man. Hanya dengan cara inilah ia dapat mengambil kembali statusnya. Kim Yong Chu bertanya apa itu palsu, Ratu membenarkan, ia yang memberikan salinannya pada Deok Man dari ramalan sebelumnya.

Raja tidak percaya bagaimana Ratu Maya dapat melakukan itu. Ratu berkata itu semua demi Deok Man mendapatkan kembali statusnya, itu harus dilakukan karena tidak mungkin kelahiran putri kembar disembunyikan. (Tirza: setuju! jangan percaya ramalan, semua terjadi karena mrk percaya ramalan, putar balik saja ramalannya..percaya pada Tuhan dan kemampuan diri sendiri.) Putri Man Myeong menambahkan menurut bagian ke-2 ramalan itu, kelahiran putri kembar tidak terlihat sebagai bencana justru jalan ke arah pemerintahan baru. Kim Seo Hyeon berkata pemalsuan ini dibuat dengan maksud agar kelahiran putri kembar bukan merupakan kutukan. Putri Man Myeong berkata ini benar dan merupakan strategi brilian Deok Man. Raja berkata agar pemalsuan ini berhasil, mereka harus mengadakan gerhana matahari.

Kapan gerhana akan terjadi. bagaimana mereka dapat memprediksi gerhana matahari.

Mi shil datang dan bertanya pada Bi Dam. Apa ia orang di sumur Najeong. Seol won membenarkan. Seol won minta topeng Bi Dam di buka, memperlihatkan "luka" yang cukup mengerikan. Mi shil minta topengnya dipasang lagi.

Mi shil dan Bi Dam memiliki ekspresi yang mirip. Bi Dam melihat kemiripan mereka.

Synopsis/summary of Episode 27

Wyol Ya kneels before Deok Man for his legion & so followed the rest of Bo Gya Hoe. Seo Ji was the last to kneel. Al Cheon bow & kneels before Deok Man the last is Bi Dam. Deok Man shock at the men around her given her legion, as Kim Yu Shin resign his love to support the person he love as his sovereign ruler

Deok Man enter 2nd phase to her Road to the Silla throne as Queen Regnant

Kim Yu Shin takes Deok Man aside for private moment as Deok Man question his intention in his public declaration. Kim Yu Shin excuse that for this very last time, may he be insolent of Deok Man status. Kim Yu Shin said that to serve under his sovereign will take all his devotion in servitude to King, so as it is that his love for Deok Man takes all his devotion for her but however he doesn’t know how divide this devotion of his equally, so that is why from here onwards, that his emotion for her will & all he feeling for her as a man will end. Kim Yu Shin will serve her, assist her & will take lead for her but he never able to love her as a man should be. Although Kim Yu Shin chose her but she chose the throne over him, there the only choice he can made as of now is he will serve Deok Man as his sovereign. Deok Man is taken back as Kim Yu Shin added that beside that option there is no method of way that he can surrender his heart to Deok Man & beside that reason, Deok Man also has no other choice to accept his heartfelt feelings

Kim Yu Shin asked Deok Man not to deter as of now they can’t seek comfort with each other like ordinary people even if he is beside her as the protocol don’t allow us to do so. Kim Yu Shin said that Deok Man mentioned that she didn’t want to make Kim Yu Shin one of her chess pieces in a massive chess board but her suffering will be far greater than his. Deok Man leaves but Kim Yu Shin hold her back & pull Deok Man in & embrace her tightly as it pains Kim Yu Shin that he can’t only do this for one last time. Deok Man said to herself that this is the last time that they will embrace, thereafter she will have to journey this journey alone.

Al Cheon asked what had happened as the alliance with Bo Gya Hoe was sealed. Kim Yu Shin said that he surrender his family entitlement Anyang Ju land to Bo Gya Hoe. Deok Man asked what about Wyol Cheon. Kim Yu Shin said that they will be soon handing over Wyol Cheon to their custody. Deok Man asked Kim Yu Shin to rescue the Gaya refugees in Da Gil districts for imminent slaughter from Bo Jong’s men, the make sure they let Mi Shil’s camp know that they have Wyol Cheon in their custody. Deok Man is certain that Seol Won Rang will attack Samyang Ju as a retaliation for the deceit as punishment. Kim Yu Shin takes the order as Deok Man said that she will meet with Wyol Cheon

Seo Ji queries about Kim Yu Shin’s intention & the rumours of the existence of the younger twin Princess & asked whether they need to render their trust to Kim Yu Shin’s promise & barter. He asked Wyol Ya whether Kim Yu Shin is serving under this so called younger twin Princess. Wyol Ya confirm that it seems so. Seo Ji said that it will be difficult for Deok Man to regain her status as Princess due to the known prophesy by founding father of King Bakhyeoggeose, can they able to trust Kim Yu Shin on this Wyol Ya tells Seo Ji that he adopts a wait & see as they now has the Anyang lands from Kim Yu Shin where they can settle the refugees for better agriculture prospect. Kim Yu Shin orders some men to go rescue the Gaya people from Samyang Ju & help them settle in Anyang Ju, allocation of farming land will be distributed when they get there by tonight. Seo Ji before leaving give stern advice that they were about to killed him if it was for Deok Man’s request, he would have be dead, so he must thanked Deok Man for his spare life, so he will have to give Deok man his full cooperation. Seo Ji leaves as he can’t believe that he would have met Deok Man again in this world

Mi Shil is inform by Seol Won Rang that they have been dupe over the whereabouts of Wyol Cheon by the Gaya refugees. Mi Shil asked how can the refugee makes a mockery out of Seol Won Rang. Mi Shil asked Seol Won Rang to punish & make them pay for dare to lie to them, so that they must learn not to make a mockery out of them. Mi Shil demands that Wyol Cheon must be return at all cost

Deok Man asked Wyol Cheon when is the next solar eclipse & asked Wyol Cheon to do the arithmetic for her. Wyol Cheon said that it is difficult to do the mathematic on the current Dae Myeong calendric system. Seol Won Rang meneruskan, Bi Dam menyebabkan kekacauan publik dengan tipuannya dan mempengaruhi peikiran rakyat, Seol Won bertanya apa tujuan Bi Dam. Bi Dam berkata ia disini untuk menyatakan kehendak langit dan tidak bermaksud menipu. Seol won tidak mau menerimanya dan berkata siapa dalang dibalik semua ini. Bi Dam berkata ini kehendak langit. Bi Dam berkata ia menerima wahyu saat meditasi.

Bi Dam berkata kehendak langit akan muncul di sumur Najeong dan dia harus melaksanakannya.

Mi Shil tiba2 menyadari bahwa kata2 Bi Dam persis sama dengan yang ia katakan saat mengusir masyarakat Gaya dari Seorabeol. Seol Won ingin meneruskan, tapi Mi Shil menyela dan bertanya apa Bi Dam tahu apa itu kehendak langit. Bi Dam berkata ia sudah berkomunikasi dengan langit. Mi shil bertanya apa Bi Dam tahu bahwa ia akan mati. Bi dam terdiam.

Mi Shil bertanya mengapa Bi Dam tidak menjawabnya. Jika jawabannya hari ini maka Mi shil akan membunuhnya besok. Jika besok, maka hari ini Bi Dam akan dieksekusi. Bi Dam menjawab tidak seorang pun tahu apa yang akan terjadi, bagaimana ia tahu tentang kematiannya. Seol won membentak Bi Dam dan minta segera menjawab. Bi Dam berkata kapanpun ia mati, ia yakin hidupnya akan lebih pendek 3 hari daripada Raja Jinpyeong. Mi shil kena skak kali ini dengan ketajaman lidah Bi Dam.

Mi shil diam. Mi saeng tahu kakaknya kalah dengan Bi Dam. Seol Mae berkata ini seperti ancaman, jika mengatakan Bi Dam akan mati berarti Raja Jinpyeong aka mati 3 hari kemudian. Mi Shil kembali setelah wajahnya kena "lemparan batu bata" oleh Bi Dam. Ha Jong minta agar Bi Dam langsung dibunuh saja. Seol won berkata tidak semudah itu. Karena Raja dan semua orang ada dan mendengar pernyataan bi Dam.

Mi shil mengaku ia dikalahkan Bi Dam. Mi shil memuji Bi Dam pintar dan aneh. Mi shil berkata jika Bi Dam berkata ia akan mati 3 hari sebelum Mi Shil mati maka ia akan membunuhnya saat itu juga, tapi Bi Dam berani menggunakan Raja Jinpyeong. Mi shil berkata Bi Dam benar2 pintar, sangat pintar. (Tirza: siapa dulu dong maminya...). Se Jong dan Mi saeng tidak suka melihat ada seseorang yang menarik perhatian Mi shil.

Deok Man berkata pada Al Cheon dan Yu Shin tidak akan ada gerhana matahari. Al Cheon berkata bukankah Wyol Cheon menghitungnya untuk Deok Man. Deok Man berkata itu semua bohong dan minta maaf karena ia bohong. Kim Yu shin ingin tahu apa yang akan dilakukannya. Deok Man berkata perhatiannya adalah membuat bingung Mi shil dengan mengatakan mereka menggertak. Mi shil akan mencari tahu dan bertanya-tanya. Sehingga ia akan bingung.

Deok Man berkata, saat ini fokusnya ada pada orang sekeliling Mi shil. Mereka akan takut dan ragu. Ada yang berkata akan terjadi gerhana, tapi sebagian berkata tidak, mereka akan berdebat, dan dia akan mempercayai Bi Dam.

Bi Dam ada di penjara dan ingat perkataan Deok Man. Deok Man berkata mereka hanya menggertak. Mi shil tahu Deok Man mendapatkan Wyol Cheon dan dia sudah membunuh Seo Ri. Maka Bi Dam harus membuat Mi Shil percaya bahwa akan ada gerhana matahari.

Kim Yu shin bertanya apa yang akan ia lakukan kemudian, Deok Man berkata jika Bi Dam sukses memancing MiShil maka Mi Shil akan mengumumkan terjadinya gerhana matahari. Tapi tentu saja tidak akan terjadi gerhana, maka orang2 akan kehilangan kepercayaan pada Mi Shil. Apa Mi shil akan menangkap umpannya tanya Yu Shin. Deok Man merasa, Mi shil harus karena susah untuk Mi shil berpikir sebaliknya bagaimanapun Mi Shil manusia biasa. Deok Man berharap Mi shil akan bertindak sesuai yang ia pikirkan.

Bi Dam dibawa menghadap Mi shil dan Mi saeng. Bo Jong memberikan barang2 Bi Dam. Mi shil memeriksanya, ia menemukan kaca pembesar. Mi Shil berkata Bi Dam benar2 penipu. Mi shil bertanya mengenai batu yang muncul dari sumur Najeong, tapi Bi Dam berkata mereka pasti tahu karena mereka ahli dalam hal itu. Bi Dam ingin berbicara secara pribadi dengan Mi Shil.

Mi Shil bertanya apa batu yang muncul di sumur Najeong itu palsu. Bi Dam tidak menyangkalnya. Mi Saeng tertawa mengapa Bi Dam berkata itu adalah kehendak langit. Mi saeng bertanya bagaimana Bi Dam melakukan tipuan itu. Bi Dam tertawa dia tahu itu tipuan tapi Mi shil tidak akan dapat mengatakan bahwa itu tipuan. Karena jika demikian maka patung Buddha yang munculwaktu itu juga tipuan. Mi saeng shock. Bi Dam berkata seseorang perlu menggunakan kehendak langit biarpun hanya sedikit.

Mi shil ingat ia mengatakan hal yang sama di depan Deok Man dan Kim Yu shin. Bi Dam bertanya apa ia benar. Mi Shil bertanya siapa Bi Dam sebenarnya. Bi dam ingat Deok Man berpesan agar hati2 dengan Mi shil karena ia dapat membaca mimik wajah dan minta agar Bi Dam tidak meremehkan Mi shil. Bi Dam kemudian melepaskan topengnya dan menarik luka buatannya untuk memperlihatkan mukanya pada Mi shil. Mi saeng ketakutan melihat Bi Dam menarik "luka" nya. Bi Dam berkata tidak adil jika mereka tidak melihat wajahnya.

Bi Dam berkata jika ia menyembunyikan wajahnya di bawah make up, maka Mi shil tidak akan dapat melihat hatinya. Mi shil terlihat menyukai Bi dam. Bi Dam mengeluarkan surat dari Deok Man dan bertanya apakah mereka akan memainkan permainan ini. Mi saeng merasa tidak enak.

Rakyat berdoa di depan batu di sumur Najeong. Mereka bertanya apa gunanya menyelubungi batu dengan kain jika mereka sudah tahu tulisannya. Mereka berdiskusi tentang bintang Gaeyang yang pulang ke surga yang mewakili Putri Cheon Myeong. Lalu apa artinya bintang Gaeyang yang akan mendirikan pemerintahan baru. Seol Won berkata ia sudah memerintahkan agar batu itu di jaga tapi sudah terlanjur menyebar dimasyarakat. Raja memberi isyarat pada Kim seo Hyeon untuk bertanya pada Se Jong dan Seol won apa jawaban Mi Shil dengan kejadian ini. Kim Yong Chu berkata Mi Shil harus menjawab semua ini. Se Jong setuju dan Mi Shil harus menjawabnya. sekarang bola ada di tangan Mi shil.

Mi shil membaca surat yang diberikan Bi Dam padanya. Bi dam bertanya apa Mi shil punya waktu untuk bermain-main dengannya. Mi shil kaget saat Bi Dam berkata orang2 di luar sana sudah gelisah apakah akan ada gerhana matahari atau tidak. Bi Dam minta Mi shil segera memberi jawaban. Mi shil bertanya apa surat ini ditulis Wyol Cheon. Bi Dam tidak tahu, ia hanya kurir dari Kim Yu shin dan Putri Deok Man. Surat itu berbunyi bahwa gerhana matahari akan terjadi pada tanggal 15 sekitar jam 11 s/d 13 siang. Mi Shil bertanya apa ia harus mempercayainya. Bi Dam tertawa karena mereka tidak berharap Mi Shil percaya surat itu.

Bi Dam menantang Mi Shil, apa ia akan percaya atau tidak. Bi Dam bertanya apa itu benar atau palsu. Mi shil tertegun dan Mi saeng mengambil surat itu dan membacanya. Bi Dam berkata Mi Shil harus memberikan jawabannya.

Mi Saeng jalan hilir mudik gelisah, ia yakin Deok Man memdapatkan Wyol Cheon. Surat itu tulisan tangan Wyol Cheon. Seol Mae berkata Wyol Cheon mengaku sulit menghitung gerhana matahari. Lalu Mi saeng bertanya lalu mereka harus bagaimana, jika mi shil berkata tidak ada gerhana, ternyata ada dan bagaimana jika sebaliknya.

Mi shil juga bertanya-tanya ini gertakan atau benar. Mi shil berkata jika seseorang berjudi, jika mereka akan menggertak, mereka selalu mengadakan pertunjukkan yang bagus untuk mengelabui pemain lainnya. Seol won dan Se Jong datang karena ada kerumunan di jalan. Mereka mencari Mi shil untuk mengetahui tentang gerhana matahari. Raja juga bertanya pada Mi Shil kata Ha Jong, ini membuat Mi Shil heran. Seol Won Rang bertanya mengenai bunga persik Sadaham, ia ingin membantu Mi shil. Mi shil mulai menjelaskan pada Seol Won.

Ratu kaget saat mendengar dari yu shin tidak akan terjadi gerhana matahari. Putri Man Myeong berpikir apa yang harus mereka lakukan. Yu shin berkata ini umpan untuk Mi shil. Agar ia percaya akan ada gerhana matahari. Jika mi shil salah, maka reputasinya akan menurun. Ratu bertanya bagaimana Deok Man akan mengambil statusnya sebagai Puteri. Jika mereka mengakui gerhana matahari, maka ramalannya akan valid sehingga mereka memiliki kekuatan jadi tidak akan ada protes terhadap Deok Man. Seol Won berkata bagaimana jika salah, tidak akan mempengaruhi kubu Deok Man tapi semua yang telah dibangun Mishil akan hancur. Mi shil mengerti resikonya. Seol Won Rang berkata selama pergerakan militer semua situasi adalah resiko. Seol Won menasihati Mi shil dia akan memikirkan strateginya, jadi Mi shil tinggal melakukan bagiannya. Mi Shil tersenyum. Ia tidak dapat berpikir jika melihat Kim Yu shin. Bo jong minta Yu Shin pergi. Kim Yu shin meminta agar Bo Jong menyerahkan surat Deok Man untuk Mi shil. Bo Jong memberikan surat itu pada ibunya. Mi shil ragu dan minta Bo Jong membakarnya, tapi rasa ingin tahu membuat dia mengambil surat itu dan membacanya.

Mi shil melihat diagram dan bagan perhitungan kemudian ia menanyakan hal ini pada Seol Mae. Kim Yu shin menunggu. Seol Mae membenarkan bahwa ini diagram dari Jeong Gwang ryeol. Mi Saeng bertanya bagaimana mereka memperoleh Jeong Gwang Ryeol, Mi saeng mulai yakin Deok Man menghitung gerhana atas bantuan Wyol Cheon. Terjadi silang pendapat dalam kubu Mi shil.

Mi shil berkata cukup dengan perdebatan ini lalu bertanya mengapa seol Won diam saja. Seol won percaya semua jawaban ada di tangan Mi shil, ia tahu kemampuan Mi Shil melihat seseorang sampai ke dalam hatinya.

Mi shil senang karena Seol Won memberinya arahan untuk mengatasi masalah ini dan meningkatkan percaya dirinya. Mi shil memanggil Kim Yu shin. Kim Yu shin ingat nasihat Deok Man agar menjadi dirinya sendiri dan tidak menghindari kontak mata dengan Mi shil. Mi shil bertanya apa yang akan dilakukan Yu shin. Mi shil berkata karena Yu shin gagal menikah dengan Cheon Myeong sekarang ia akan menerima Deok Man sebagai Putri Raja dan membuat Raja menjadi ayah mertuanya dan kemudian di masa depat, Kim Yu shin akan menjadi Putra Mahkota, apakah itu yang ia inginkan. Kim Yu shin berkata beraninya Mi Shil berspekulasi dengan ngawur.

Kim Yu shin sudah memberikan semua yang dimilikinya untuk Puteri Deok Man. Mi shil tertawa mendengar Yu shin menyebut Deok Man, Putri. Mi shil bertanya kapan itu akan terjadi. Kim Yu shin benar2 ceroboh dalam keputusannya. Kim Yu shin punya tanggungjawab untuk memimpin rakyat Gaya dan menghormati keluarganya. Kim Yu shin berkata ia tidak cukup pintar untuk mengerti apa yang akan Mi Shil lakukan. Mi shil bertanya apa Wyol Cheon melakukan perhitungan untuk gerhana matahari. Yu shin membenarkan. Apa Yu shin melihatnya sendiri atau ia mendengarnya. Yu shin berkata Putri Deok Man yang mengatakan padanya. Lalu Mi shil bertanya apa Wyol Cheon melakukan Dan Cheong nunnery (pengamatan bintang).

Kim Yu shin merasa tidak pasti. Kim Yu shin tidak dapat menjawabnya. Mi shil akhirnya tahu bahwa ini hanya gertakan dan yakin ia sudah menangkap maksud mereka. Mi shil menanyakan sesuatu dan Kim Yu shin tidak dapat menjawabnya karena mi Shil tahu Yu shin benar2 orang jujur dan tidak mampu berbohong sedikitpun.

Mi shil tahu ini tipuan dan tidak akan ada gerhana matahari. Ini semua tipuan Deok Man. Kim Yu shin tidak mengerti dan Mi shil meminta Yu shin pergi karena ia sudah mendapat yang ia inginkan dengan membaca ekspresi wajah Yu Shin. Sebelum Yu Shin pergi, Mi shil ingin ia mengakui akan ada gerhana dan rancangannya gagal.

Mi shil berkata Deok Man masih harus belajar banyak dalam soal tipu menipu. Kemampuan Deok Man masih dasar. Bagaimana Deok Man dapat percaya pada Yu Shin yang sangat polos. Seol Mae bertanya apa Yu Shin berbohong, tapi Mi shil berkata Yu shin tidak takut padanya, Mi shil berkata jika Deok Man inginmenipunya, hal pertama yang dilakukan adalah menipu Kim Yu Shin, sepertinya Deok Man tidak melakukan itu.

Mi Saeng tahu ia dapat mengandalkan Mi Shil dalam menilai orang, tapi Mi Saeng takut. Seol Mae juga meragukan apa Wyol Cheon dapat menghitung dengan cepat meskipun ia memiliki Jeong Gwang Ryeol. Mi saeng masih berpendapat bahwa surat yang ditulis wyol Cheon itu akurat. Kemudian Mi Shil ingat bahwa Wyol Cheon berkata ada selisih hari, maka tidak mungkin Wyol Cheon menulis tanggal dan jam yang tepat. Mi shil percaya surat itu palsu. Lagipula Keluarga Raja selalu ketakutan jika Mi shil mengadakan ritual, tapi kali ini Raja memintanya memberikan jawaban.

Mi Saeng merasa Deok Man hanya menggertak. Mi shil ingin mengkonfirmasi satu hal lagi. Bi Dam di penjara dan merasa bosan saat seseorang berkata bahwa Mi shil mengatakan tidak akan ada gerhana matahari. Ini saatnya Bi Dam harus menerima akibatnya. Seok bum memerintahkan penjaga memberi makanan terakhir untuk Bi Dam karena ia akan dieksekusi. Bi Dam berpikir cepat bagaimana melarikan diri. Bi dam tahu Deok Man tidak menjamin keselamatannya.

Bi Dam dibawa keluar, Bi dam mencoba lari. Seok bum dan Bo Jong bukan tandingan Bi Dam tapi saat mereka menggunakan formasi, Bi Dam terperangkap dan tertangkap. Mi shil keluar. Bi Dam tertawa dan mengakui ia telah dikalahkan. Mi Shil berkata tidak akan ada gerhana matahari. Bi Dam heran bagaimana Mi shil tahu tipuan ini. Biarpun ada gerhana, Bi Dam tetap akan mati kata Mi shil. Mi shil berkata besok Bi Dam akan dibakar dihadapan semua orang.

Raja mendapat laporan bahwa tidak akan ada gerhana matahari. Ratu berkata bukankah ada yang berkata akan ada gerhana. Mi shil bertanya bagaimana Ratu dapat ditipu oleh aktor yang menyamar itu.

Mi shil pergi dengan penuh percaya diri karena ia telah menang melawan Keluarga Raja. Mi shil membuat pengumuman tidak akan ada gerhana matahari. Orang2 berkata Mi shil sudah mengatakan tidak ada gerhana jadi pasti akurat. Raja, Ratu dan Putri Man Myeong melihat ke langit dan bertanya-tanya apa akan ada gerhana matahari atau tidak. Sementara itu Deok Man menggambar rencananya. Kim Yu shin dan Al Cheon datang dan Al Cheon berkata matahari sudah terbenam dan tidak ada tanda akan ada gerhana matahari. Kim yu shin menyalahkan dirinya sendiri karena merusakkan gertakan mereka. Deok Man tetap tenang dan dia melukis apa yang direncanakannya. Lalu ia berdiri dan meminta maaf pada mereka dan terlebih pada Bi Dam. (Tirza: ha..benar khan..?!)

Bi dam ada dalam sel dan menunggu kematiannya. Paginya, tiang dan panggung untuk membakar Bi dam sudah disiapkan. Mi shil penuh rasa kemenangan. Bi Dam dibawa dan diikat pada tiang. Seol won membacakan kejahatan Bi Dam. Seol Won bertanya apa ada kata terakhir. Bi dam berjuang untuk melepaskan diri dari tali. Seol Won menunggu sinyal untuk menyalakan api. Saat drum dibunyikan, Seok Bum akan menyalakan api ketika dia kaget dan melihat ke langit. Dia melihat fenomena alam di langit, langit menjadi gelap tepat tengah hari dan bayangan gelap dengan perlahan menutupi matahari. Semua terkejut dengan fenomena yang terjadi. Gerhana matahari!

Raja sadar semua melihat ke atas dan melihat gerhana matahari. Mi shil dan Mi saeng benar2 shock berat. Ratu Maya sangat senang. Rakyat sangat bingung. Bi Dam mengambil kesempatan untuk melepaskan diri dan ia juga melihat gerhana matahari.

Deok Man minta maaf, dia berkata Kim Yu shin sudah melakukan sesuai dengan harapannya. Dia minta maaf karena gerhana matahari benar akan terjadi seperti yang tertulis. Al Cheon dan Yu Shin bingung.

Deok Man tahu Wyol Cheon sudah menulis tentang Dae Myong dan berkesimpulan ada selisih 24 jam, tapi tidak kurang dari 48 jam, akan ada gerhana matahari. wyol Cheon menjelaskan menggunakan Dae Myong Ryeol edisi terakhir, dan dengan tambahan rumus dari jeong Gwang Ryeol maka ia yakin selisihnya antara 24 sampai 48 jam. Inilah yang paling akurat yang dapat ia berikan. Deok Man berkata gerhana matahari akan terjadi setelah tgl 15. Wyol Cheon berkata itu akan terjadi pada tgl 15 atau besoknya. Deok Man bertanya apa ini pasti. wyol Cheon yang telah memanggil Putri pada Deok Man, membenarkan.

Ketika matahari dimakan hampir separuh Mi shil terkejut. Deok Man berkata demi menipu Mi shil, hal pertama yang harus ia lakukan adalah memberikan informasi yang salah pada Bi Dam dan Kim Yu shin. Dengan tujuan membuat Mi shil percaya mereka telah menggertaknya. Dia minta maaf karena tipuannya dan Al Cheon terkagum-kagum dengan strategi Deok Man.

Saat langit menjadi gelap, Bi Dam sadar ia telah dibohongi oleh Deok Man demi untuk mengecoh Mi Shil. Deok Man berkata dia percaya Bi Dam dengan sepenuh hati untuk menipu Mi shil. Deok Man sebenarnya percaya Mi shil dan bukan Bi Dam. Bahwa ego Mi shil dan kepandaiannya akan menjadi lawannya sendiri. Mi shil memakan umpan Deok Man karena Mi shil akan dapat membaca ekspresi Bi Dam. Bi Dam tertawa dan kagum dengan rencana Deok Man.

Kim Yu shin bertanya mengapa ia perlu bertemu Mi shil. Deok Man berkata karena Kim Yu shin terlalu jujur dan Yu Shin tidak dapat menyembunyikan air mukanya kalau bohong. Membuat Deok Man bisa membaca wajah Kim Yu shin. Yu shin tanya bagaimana Deok Man dapat membujuk Wyol cheon.

Deok Man ingat Wyol Cheon sangat senang saat Deok Man mengemukakan rencananya membangun yang sekarang disebut Cheomseongdae (observatorium kuno) dan dia janji ia akan membangun observatorium ini untuk memenuhi hasrat Wyol Cheon mempelajari astronomi. Deok man janji akan menggunakan astronomy untuk kebaikan. wyol Cheon memuji Deok Man dengan kebijaksanaannya.

(Cheomseongdae, harta nasional Korea Selatan ke-31 adalah observatorium tertua di Asia Timur, dibangun tahun 647 selama pemerintahan Ratu Seon Deok dari Silla dan digunakan sebagai observatorium astronomi. Berbentuk silinder disusun dari 362 batu dan 27 tingkat.)

Ketika gerhana menjadi gerhana matahari total, rakyat berlutut dan berdoa agar matahari mengembalikan sinarnya. Bi Dam meneriakkan ramalan Eochul Ssangsaeng Seonggol Nam Jin Gae Yang Gwi Cheon; Il Yu Shik Ji; lalu saat kegelapan berlalu dan matahari kembali bersinar, Bi Dam mengatakan Gae Yang Ja Rip; Gyerim Cheon Myeong, Mi shil kaget dengan kata2 Bi Dam, Ratu Maya sangat senang. Saat Bi Dam berkata Shin cheon Do Rae, Deok Man muncul di depan rakyat dalam gemilang cahaya matahari. Bersamaan dengan matahari yang bersinar terang, mereka melihat Deok Man dari dalamnya.

Saat diinterogasi, Mishil (Go Hyeon-jeong) terkejut mendengar Bidam (Kim Nam-gil) mengatakan kalimat yang pernah diucapkannya. Semakin yakin kalau semua adalah tipuan, Mishil mengajukan pertanyaan yang sempat membuat Bidam terdiam : kapan pria itu bakal mati.

Langsung memutar otak, Bidam menjawab kalau waktu kematiannya akan diikuti oleh Raja Jinpyeong (Jo Min-ki) tiga hari kemudian. Ucapan tersebut langsung membuat Mishil mengurungkan niatnya, ia tidak berani gegabah. Kejadian itu membuatnya sadar, pria yang dihadapinya sangat cerdas dan tidak bisa dianggap remeh.

Di persembunyiannya, Deokman (Lee Yo-won) membuat Yushin (Uhm Tae-woong) dan Alcheon (Lee Seung-hyo) kaget saat mengatakan gerhana matahari tidak akan terjadi dan apa yang dilakukan Bidam adalah untuk membuat Mishil bingung.

Adu strategi antara Bidam dan Mishil dimulai. Di hadapan wanita itu dan Misaeng (Jung Woong-in), dengan sengaja Bidam mengucapkan kalimat-kalimat yang pernah dikatakan Mishil pada Yushin dan Deokman. Dengan cepat, Mishil bisa menebak siapa dalang dibalik kemunculan Bidam.

Tiba-tiba teringat dengan nasehat Deokman ketika merias wajahnya, Bidam dengan sengaja melepas bekas luka palsunya supaya Mishil bisa langsung melihat ekspresinya tanpa ditutup-tutupi. Sementara itu di daerah sumur Najung, Jukbang (Lee Moon-shik) dan Godo (Ryu Dam) sengaja membuat kehebohan di tengah rakyat supaya Mishil cepat mengambil keputusan soal ramalan gerhana matahari.

Berada dalam tekanan, Mishil mendapatkan surat dari Deokman yang memberitahu kalau Guru Wolcheon telah meramalkan bakal terjadi gerhana matahari. Dugaan Deokman sangat tepat, Mishil mulai kebingungan untuk menebak apakah sang putri benar-benar berkata jujur atau bohong belaka.

Tapi membohongi Mishil tidak semudah membalik telapak tangan, diam-diam wanita itu punya rencana sendiri untuk membongkar apa yang terjadi sebenarnya. Berdasarkan masukan dari Seolwon (Jun Noh-min), Mishil sengaja mengulur waktu, ia bahkan menolak kedatangan Yushin. Sebelum pergi, Yushin menitipkan sebuah surat.

Mishil terpengaruh, ia sempat meminta surat tersebut dibakar sebelum kemudian dibatalkan. Matanya langsung terbelalak saat tahu surat tersebut tak lain adalah bagian dari buku almanak Wei yang bisa digunakan untuk meramal gerhana matahari, keraguannya kembali muncul. Lagi-lagi, masukan dari Seolwon mampu menguatkan Mishil.

Saat tengah berjalan kembali ke kediamannya, Yushin dipanggil oleh Bojong (Baek Do-bin), yang mengajaknya menemui Mishil. Terus teringat akan nasehat Deokman untuk tidak mengalihkan tatapannya dari Mishil, Yushin berusaha sebisa mungkin untuk mengelabuhi wanita penuh akal itu namun gagal. Dengan tepat, Mishil bisa menebak kalau apa yang dilakukan Deokman adalah gertakan belaka.

Keyakinan Mishil makin menebal lewat salah satu bagian dari surat Guru Wolcheon, ia ingat betul sang pendeta sempat mengatakan kalau margin kegagalan ramalannya mencapai sekitar 28 jam. Hal terakhir yang dilakukannya adalah dengan memancing reaksi Bidam, yang begitu mendengar kalau gerhana matahari tidak akan terjadi langsung berusaha melarikan diri.

Sambil tersenyum penuh kemenangan, Mishil menemui Bidam yang telah diringkus sambil mengatakan kalau dirinya sudah bisa menebak semua strategi Deokman. Dengan percaya diri, Mishil menghadap Raja Jinpyeong dan Ratu Maya (Yoon Yoo-sun) dan mengatakan akan mengumumkan pada rakyat kalau gerhana matahari tidak bakal terjadi sambil menghukum mati Bidam yang telah menyebarkan berita palsu.

Diikat dan bakal dibakar hidup-hidup, hal yang tidak disangka-sangka terjadi : gerhana matahari. Efeknya sangat dahsyat, rakyat langsung ketakutan sementara Bidam hanya bisa melongo karena sadar dirinya telah dibohongi mentah-mentah oleh Deokman.

Meneruskan rencananya, Bidam berteriak dengan kencang tentang ramalan kedua dari prasasti yang muncul di sumur Najung. Begitu gerhana matahari mulai menghilang, dari sisi kanan tempat raja duduk, muncul satu sosok yang membuat semuanya terkejut.

Highlight from previous episode. Bi Dam does his special effect wonders by orchestra a emerging craving tablet raising from the ground with great exploding splendour. Princess Man Myeong said that this is the 2nd part of the tablet with the prophesy Eochul Ssangsaeng Seonggol Nam Jin that had gone missing. Then Queen Maya said it is true in according to this that the return of Gaeyang to the heavens constellation will a solar eclipse occur. Princess Man Myeong indicate that one of the Gaeyang star refers to Princess Cheon Myeong who has died & return to the constellation of heavens & a solar eclipse will occur, then Queen Maya reads on that when Gaeyang is established in the heaven, it will draw a new radiance on Gyerim thus bring forth a new order & era. Princess Man Myeong said that only the person borne in the Gaeyang star will able to establish that prophesy. Queen Maya said that the other Gaeyang will have to established that new order indicated that it will be Deok Man

Bi Dam is arrested by Mi Shil & his mask is taken off to reveal his identity. Bi Dam reveal his scar face, as he looks horrid, Mi Shil asked the mask to be put back on. Then King Jinpyeong announce his arrival & take a look at Bi Dam. Mi Shil said that she is questioning this man for impertinent to the Royal Household & causing public disturbance to sentiments. King Jinpyeong asked Mi Shil to carry on with her question as he is here as a mere observer in the proceedings.

Seol Won Rang continues that Bi Dam is causing public disturbance with her fraud & lies to influence public’s mindset & sentiments & asked what is his purpose for doing so. Bi Dam said that he is here to convey heaven’s will & that there is no fraud or tricks implied. Seol Won Rang wouldn’t accept Bi Dam’s reply & asked who mastermind him to go to Najeong well to do those rituals & cheating on the people’s beliefs. Bi Dam said that the person who masterminds this comes directly from the directive of heaven’s will itself. If it is to delude the people, it is heaven’s way. Seol Won Rang asked how can Bi Dam be arduously rude in telling this is heaven’s will & giving insult to Silla & the Royal Household. Bi Dam said how can a lowly humble person like him be disrespectful to the Royal Household. Bi Dam said he receive this revelation while meditating in training. It is said that heaven’s will be descend on Najeong well & he needs be the caretaker of the revelation

Mi Shil suddenly realise that it is the exact same words she has said when she told of the revelation in Najeong well during the expulsion of the Gaya people from Seorabeol. Seol Won Rang continues to question but Mi Shil interrupts & asked whether Bi Dam know what is heaven’s will. Bi Dam said that he does have communication with heaven. Then Mi Shil asked how much he knows of his own fate & destiny. If he is a person who can communicate with heaven, surely he had the knowledge of his own fate. Mi Shil asked does Bi Dam know when he is about to die. Bi Dam is dumbfounded by Mi Shil’s question as Mi Saeng praise his sister’s intelligence. Seol Mae concur that whatever Bi Dam’s reply is will be the death of him either way

Mi Shil repeats that why Bi Dam doesn’t answer her question when he is about to die, if it is today then she will kill him tomorrow, if it is tomorrow then it will today that he will be executed immediately. Mi Shil asked Bi Dam to answer her. Bi Dam answer that no one know what is about to come, how would he know about his death. Seol Won Rang shouts at Bi Dam playing with his words & asked him to give a direct answer. Bi Dam said that although it is presumptuous to implied but his life will end 3 days shorter that King Jinpyeong. Mi Shil got checkmated by Bi Dam as her tongue is caught by the cat

Bi Dam is certainly Mi Shil new improve formula. Mi Shil is dumfounded as Mi Saeng know that his sister had lost to Bi Dam. Seol Mae said that it sounds like a threat telling that if he dies, King Jinpyeong will die after 3 days. Mi Shil return & digesting after being bash in the face by a brick wall by Bi Dam as Se Jong adds salt to wound that Bi Dam is indeed cunning. Ha Jong asked why his mother bother to speak to people like him & get insulted. Ha Jong asked that Bi Dam be executed & then see if he is still being talkative. Seol Won Rang said that this is not as simple a situation as King Jinpyeong & many other has heard Bi Dam making his declaration. There is nothing they can do for the moment.

Mi Shil admits defeat in this bout with Bi Dam. Mi Shil praise that BI Dam is indeed witty & intelligent. Mi Shil said that if he had said that he will died 3 days from her death then she would have executed him right away as she is not deter by any nonsense but however Bi Dam daringly went to implicated King Jinpyeong, Mi Shil said that Bi Dam is indeed clever, absolutely clever. Se Jong & Mi Saeng is not pleased that someone had taken Mi Shil’s attention

Deok man tells Al Cheon & Kim Yu Shin there is no solar eclipse occurrence soon. Al Cheon asked that didn’t Abbot Wyol Cheon calculate the solar eclipse for her. Deok Man said that it was all a lie & apologise for her deceit. Kim Yu Shin wants to know what they are supposed to do. Deok Man said that their main concern is to confuse Mi Shil’s judgement by calling their bluff. They need to play the possible that whether or not Wyol Cheon had collaborate with Deok man & if he did; will he had done the maths for Deok Man or not for the solar eclipse. Mi Shil will ponder & wonder hard on the odds at hand, it will stir her confidence judgement & confuse her to a dilemma. Kim Yu Shin asked whether Mi Shil will deter.

Deok man tells at this time, it is none of their concern if Mi Shil deter in doubts. This is foremost priority is that the people around her will deter in fear & doubts. There is people who say that the solar eclipse will occur & then there are some that said it may not happened, then they will debates on the matter profusely on their believe, then of course she trust that Bi Dam will able to accomplished what she has sent him to do. Bi Dam in his jail cell recalls Deok man telling that the solar eclipse will not occur & asked whether he has play a game of chance & gamble on it. Deok man tells that their face down deck of cards is actually Hoe Pae (bluff). Mi Shil knows that Deok Man has Wyol Cheon & she had already killed Seo Ri. Bi Dam must make Mi Shil to believe that the solar eclipse will occur on that date

Hoe Pae or Xu Pai in Chinese. It means it false deck of cards or a bluff. But there Chinese saying or stratagem when the indicated false is depicted as the truth, when actually profound that the depicted true is indeed false

Kim Yu Shin question there is a probability but will Mi Shil be baited into believing them. Deok Man said that Mi Shil just had to take the bait once in believing that the solar eclipse will happened or else it will be hard for Mi Shil to think that it is otherwise & whatever she had gain & fought for will collapse like a deck of cards, since Mi Shil is human & obtain a set of human emotion, she will deter. Kim Yu Shin asked whether Mi Shil will react according to what they had perceived. Deok Man wishes it may be so but she has her fear that Mi Shil wouldn’t take the bait. Deok Man has been courageous in thinking that all will be well but she is also highly worried about the matter that she didn’t sleep for days out of fear & anxiety. This is natural that the person she need to go against & confront is Mi Shil, it is natural instinct that she should have her fears

Bi Dam is brought before Mi Shil & Mi Saeng. Bo Jong brings Bi Dam’s package as Mi Saeng runs through his belonging. Mi Shil picks up the burning glass & knows that Bi Dam uses the burning glass to lights those fires during his rituals. Mi Shil said that Bi Dam is a lowly con artist to conjoured such tricks to fool the masses. Mi Shil asked about the raised tablet in Najeong well but Bi Dam tells that they should know how it is done as they are expert or the masters of that trick. Roughly 4.16m up from the bottom there is a 1㎡ square entrance and a space to hang a ladder under it. The inside is filled with soil up to the 12th level, and the 19th, 20th, 25th, and 26th levels all have long rocks hanging on two areas, shaped as the Chinese letter ‘井’ (jeong or jing in Chinese means well). It stands 9.17m high and the base stone on each side measures 5.35m. The Vernal Equinox, Autumnal Equinox, Winter Solstice, Summer Solstice and the 24 solar terms (also known as the astronomical solar year) were determined by the observation of stars. The pavilion stone is believed to have been used as a standard of deciding directions, north, south, east and west. The 362 stones used to build Cheomseongdae represented the 362 days in a lunar year.
