Synopsis

Deokman (later known as Queen Seon Deok) was born as a twin but was abandoned as a baby. She was later brought back to the Silla palace, where she joined forces with her twin sister Princess Cheonmyeng to oppose Mi-shil, who wanted to seize power. Mi-shil devised sinister plans to have the two Silla princesses exiled from the kingdom, and in a secretive battle, Princess Chonmyong was assassinated by Mi-shil. However, Princess Deokman shrewdly enlisted the help of General Kim Yusin and eliminated her archenemy Mi-shil. She became the first female ruler of the Silla kingdom.

Saat tengah mengendap-ngendap, Daenambo (Ryu Sang-wook) dikejutkan oleh Alcheon (Lee Seung-hyo) dan Putri Cheonmyeong (Park Ye-jin) yang mendadak keluar dari gubuk. Sempat gelagapan, Daenambo beralasan kemunculannya di tempat itu adalah karena kebetulan belaka.

Diam-diam, Daenambo terus mengikuti Putri Cheonmyeong meski muncul isyarat asap. Isyarat tersebut, yang ternyata dibuat oleh Bidam (Kim Nam-gil) dan Imjong (Kang Ji-hoo), mampu mengelabuhi pasukan pimpinan Bojong (Baek Do-bin) dan Seokpum (Hong Kyung-in). Sayang, siasat Putri Cheonmyeong yang bertukar identitas dengan Deokman (Lee Yo-won) terbongkar.

Dengan geram, Daenambo mengarahkan anak panahnya ke arah Deokman. Untungnya, Yushin (Uhm Tae-woong) bergerak cepat. Daenambo sendiri sempat terlibat perkelahian seru dengan Alcheon, namun ia bisa meloloskan diri untuk meneruskan misinya.

Sebelum Deokman berangkat dengan rakit, Putri Cheonmyeon sempat kembali bertemu dengannya untuk melepas sang adik. Tidak ada yang menyangka bahwa dari belakang, Daenambo mengarahkan anak panahnya ke sang putri karena mengira wanita itu adalah Deokman. Akibatnya fatal, Putri Cheonmyeong langsung ambruk terkena anak panah beracun.

Sebelum mengungsi, Bidam sempat melepas sejumlah anak panah yang salah satunya mengenai Daenambo. Apes bagi Daenambo, saat berusaha menghilangkan barang bukti, ia malah bertemu rombongan Bojong dan Seokpum yang dipimpin langsung oleh Seolwon (Jung Noh-min).

Di gua tersembunyi, Putri Cheonmyeong meregang nyawa sambil ditemani oleh Yushin, sementara Deokman menarik Bidam untuk mencari penawar racun. Dengan napas tersengal-sengal, sang putri akhirnya mengakui perasaannya pada Yushin. Setelah itu, ia meminta Yushin untuk terus menjaga Deokman dan melupakan soal Shilla maupun Mishil.

Memacu kudanya secepat mungkin, Bidam dan Deokman berpacu dengan waktu. Sayangnya usaha mereka terlambat. Saat sampai di gua, mereka disambut oleh wajah Alcheon yang penuh duka. Sempat histeris, saat masuk gua Deokman melihat Yushin menemani jasad Putri Cheonmyeong.

Tidak percaya apa yang terjadi, Deokman langsung menangis sejadi-jadinya saat membuka tudung yang menutupi wajah Putri Cheonmyeong. Dengan penuh duka, Alcheon membawa jenazah sang putri kembali ke Seorabol, sementara Yushin meneruskan tugasnya menjaga Deokman untuk pergi sejauh mungkin.

Begitu tiba sambil mendorong kereta, Alcheon disambut oleh rombongan prajurit pimpinan Seolwon. Mengira kalau yang bakal muncul adalah jenazah Deokman, Seolwon langsung berlutut dengan penuh rasa terkejut saat mendapati yang meninggal adalah Putri Cheonmyeong.

Berita meninggalnya Putri Cheonmyeong langsung membuat semua orang terpukul terlebih Raja Jinpyeong (Jo Min-ki) dan Ratu Maya (Yoon Yoo-sun). Pukulan juga dirasakan oleh kubu Mishil (Go Hyeon-jeong), yang langsung memerintahkan untuk menghentikan pencarian Deokman dan tidak bergerak sebelum mendapat perintah.

Di saat para pejabat Shilla sibuk mempersiapkan pemakaman Putri Cheonmyeong, Deokman yang masih belum bisa lepas dari syok langsung demam. Yushin yang merawatnya selama tiga hari tiga malam terkejut karena saat pagi, gadis itu sudah tidak ada di tempat tidurnya.

Rupanya, Deokman tengah duduk merenung sambil menatap air terjun. Paham atas kesedihan yang dialami gadis itu, Yushin berusaha menghiburnya. Ia menyerahkan sisir pemberian Putri Cheonmyeong sambil menyebut pesan terakhir yang disampaikan : Deokman harus hidup bahagia sebagai seorang wanita dan melupakan Shilla maupun Mishil.

Apa yang dilakukan Deokman selanjutnya sangat mengejutkan, ia menyebut tidak akan menuruti keinginan mendiang Putri Cheonmyeong sambil mematahkan sisir pemberian sang kakak.

Deok Man dan Cheon Myeong berpelukan erat, mereka seperti tidak rela berpisah. Dae Nam Bo tahu Deok Man ada di dalam pondok. Dae nam Bo mendekati pondok, saat mereka semakin dekat, Al Cheon membuka pintu dan bertanya apa itu Dae Nam Bo. Dae Nam Bo kaget. Cheon Myeong keluar dari pondok dan Dae Nam Bo memberi salam. Cheon Myeong bertanya mengapa Dae Nam Bo datang apa ingin berjalan-jalan. Dae Nam Bo mengiyakan. Bagaimana dengan Putri, Cheon Myeong berkata ia ingin menikmati pemandangan dan minta Al Cheon untuk mengikutinya. Cheon Myeong dan Al Cheon berjalan dengan santai. Kemudian Dae Nam Bo melihat sinyal asap yang mengarah ke desa Yangji.

Dae Nam Bo memutuskan mengecek dan mengikuti Cheon Myeong. Seok Bum berkata seluruh gunung penuh dengan orang mereka dan tidak ada sinyal asap. Salah satu nangdo melihat asap dan berkata mereka pasti sudah ditemukan. Sebenarnya Bi Dam yang menyalakan sinyal dan mengacaukan mereka. Bi Dam merasa ini hal yang sangat menyenangkan dan ingin melakukan hal ini sejak dulu (he's crazy he..he). Salah satu nangdo Al Cheon bersamanya. Bi dam bertanya apa Nangdo selalu melakukan aktifitas seperti ini, bergerak dengan misi rahasia. Bi Dam bertanya mengapa Deok Man dan yang lainnya kelihatan sedih dan murung. Mengapa Deok Man menyamar jadi pria. Nang do Al cheon tidak mengatakan apa2 dan mengajak Bi Dam pergi. Bi Dam bertanya mengapa mereka pelit sekali membagi informasi dengannya.

Al Cheon mengawal Cheon Myeong dan Dae Nam Bo mengikuti mereka. Cheon Myeong dan Al cheon masuk ke pondok yang lain. Sesaat kemudian Dae Nam Bo seperti melihat Al Cheon dan Cheon Myeong keluar dari pondok. Dae Nam Bo curiga dan memeriksa pondok. Ternyata di dalam masih ada Putri dan Al Cheon. Mereka bertukar tempat dengan Yu Shin dan Deok Man yang berpakaian wanita. Al Cheon menghalangi Dae Nam Bo tapi ia kalah dan Dae Nam Bo mengejar Deok Man dan Yu Shin. Cheon Myeong berteriak memperingatkan Deok Man. Deok Man menoleh dan Dae Nam Bo mencoba menembakkan panah ke arah mereka. Al Cheon melemparkan batu ke arah Dae Nam Bo, Yu Shin dan Deok Man menghindari panah dan jatuh ke bawah tebing. Al Cheon mengejar Dae Nam Bo.

Bo Jong tahu bahwa sinyal itu palsu. Bi Dam meninggalkan pesan di tanah yang berkata mereka bodoh. (bener2 persis Sin Tiaw Tay Hiap Yang Ko karakternya). Bo Jong memerintah anak buahnya untuk tetap di tempat.

Al Cheon gagal mengejar Dae Nam Bo. Cheon Myeong mencoba mencari Deok Man tapi terpeleset dan Al Cheon menariknya. Cheon Myeong berkata sekarang Seol Won pasti tahu mereka dikecoh oleh sinyal palsu. Cheon Myeong berkeras mencari Deok Man dan Al Cheon menghentikannya, ia meyakinkan Putri akan menemukan Deok Man. Seol Won tahu kalau Dae Nam Bo memburu Deok Man. Dae Nam Bo mengejar Deok Man sampai ke kuil. Deok Man mencoba lari dengan menyamar sebagai Cheon Myeong. Seol won heran mengapa Baek Ho Bi Do nangdo pergi ke kuil. Seol Won segera menyelidikinya.

Cheon Myeong dan Al Cheon mencari Yu Shin. Yu shin keluar dari persembunyiannya. Cheon Myeong bertanya tentang Deok Man. Yu Shin minta mereka mengikutinya. Deok Man, yang telah berganti baju dengan seragam Nangdo menyalami Cheon Myeong. Yu Shin bertanya mengenai Dae Nam Bo. Al Cheon berkata Dae Nam Bo sudah pergi tapi mereka harus waspada karena sepertinya ia membawa panah beracun Duk Si.

Kim Yu shin berkata Bi Dam sudah menunggu dengan perahu. Bi Dam gelisah dan menunggu di perahu, saat Bi Dam melihat rombongan itu, ia berteriak agar mereka bergegas. Deok Man dan Cheon Myeong berlari ke perahu. Deok Man melihat pada Cheon Myeong dan Cheon Myeong memintanya untuk bergegas dan pergi. Cheon Myeong minta Deok Man meninggalkan Silla dan melupakan Silla, bersama Yu Shin memulai hidup bahagia, dengan cara itulah Deok Man harus hidup.

Dalam hati Deok Man memanggil Cheon Myeong kakak. Deok Man memeluk Cheon Myeong. Bi Dam berteriak pada mereka untuk bergegas dan jangan berpelukan atau menangis terus. (Tirza: this guy maybe a little bit rude, but he is right! if only the twin listen to Bi Dam..). Cheon Myeong mengantar Deok Man naik ke perahu. Sementara itu, Dae Nam Bo menemukan mereka dan siap dengan panah beracunnya. Dae Nam Bo masih mengira Deok Man mengenakan baju Cheon Myeong. Bi Dam menyuruh Deok Man bergegas.

Cheon Myeong berbalik dan Deok Man mencoba memanggil Cheon Myeong tapi ragu2 dan naik ke perahu. Dae Nam Bo mengarahkan panah dan menembak Cheon Myeong di bagian dada. Semuanya kaget melihat Cheon Myeong tertembak panah dan bergegas menolongnya. Al Cheon dan Yu shin menolong Putri dan Deok Man melihat ke sekeliling untuk mencari pelakunya. Kim Yu shin berteriak mundur. ada panah lain menyerang kapal, Bi Dam menembakkan panah untuk membalas dan Dae Nam Bo terkena tembakan.
Bi Dam menyuruh agar Cheon Myeong dibawa ke perahu dan mereka pergi.

Raja Jinpyeong dan Ratu Maya sangat tertekan dengan mimpi buruknya dan Raja meminta Ratu menenangkan diri. Se Jong juga marah karena mereka tidak mendengar berita apapun. Mi shil juga tampak marah. Chil Sook mengajukan diri, jika Mi Shil mengeluarkan perintah ia akan turun dan menyelesaikan masalahnya. Mi shil berkata tidak perlu. Ia perlu Chil Sook di sisinya. Ha Jng gelisah karena besok mereka harus menghadiri sidang Dewan Bangsawan. Mi Shil ingin mengirim pesan pada Seol Won Rang.

Dae Nam Bo terluka oleh panah Bi Dam. Dae Nam Bo mencabut panah dari badannya dan ia membuangnya untuk melenyapkan bukti. Seol Won Rang memergokinya.

Cheon Myeong dibawa ke dalam gua. Deok Man menggenggam tangan Cheon Myeong saat Cheon Myeong berjuang antara hidup mati. Bi Dam mencoba mengambil panah dengan mengoperasi Cheon Myeong. Bi Dam merasakan ujung panah dan tahu bahwa itu racun. Bi dam meludahkan racunnya. Bi Dam berkata itu racun Cho Oh.

Deok Man kaget saat tahu itu panah beracun. Bi dam berkata racun itu akan mengalir melalui aliran darah Cheon Myeong dalam 2 jam. Deok Man bertanya apa yang harus dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan Cheon Myeong. Bi dam berkata mereka harus mencari Gam Cho dan Bangpung (2 macam anti racun). Al Cheon berkata mereka harus membawa Cheon Myeong ke tabib. Bi Dam melarang menggerakkan Cheon Myeong, karena racunnya akan lebih cepat bergerak.

Yu shin bertanya dimana mereka bisa mendapat obat. Deok Man memutuskan akan mencari obat, Cheon Myeong ingin Deok Man tetap di sisinya dan mendengar perkataan Cheon Myeong. Deok Man berkeras ia akan mendengar kakaknya setelah ia pulang dengan obat. Untuk pertama kalinya Deok Man memanggil Cheon Myeong kakak. Deok Man akan mendengar Cheon Myeong setelah ia menyelamatkannya. Deok Man pergi. Kim Yu shin mencoba memanggilnya. Bi Dam menyusul Deok Man.

Kim Yu shin meminta Cheon Myeong bertahan. Deok Man menyeret Bi Dam agar bergegas mencari obatnya. Al Cheon bertanya apa mereka perlu mencari jeon Do Cho juga. Kim Yu Shin setuju dan akan pergi dengan Al Cheon. Tapi Cheon Myeong ingin Yu Shin tetap di tempat. Al Cheon mengangguk dan setuju Yu Shin tinggal sementara ia pergi mencari obat juga. (Ampun deh..masak org luka ditinggal2, salah satu jagain atuh..). Cheon Myeong berkata ia merasa ia akan mati. Cheon Myeong terus saja bergumam ia merasa aneh. Yu shin meyakinkan bahwa Cheon Myeong akan baik2 saja, mereka akan mendapat penawar racunnya.

Cheon Myeong minta Yu Shin menggenggam tangannya. Yu Shin memegangnya sesuai perintah. Deok Man dan Bi Dam berlari ke pasar untuk mencari obat. Cheon Myeong berkata, Istana sudah menyiapkan pernikahan mereka. Semua itu untuk tujuan politik dan sekutu. Itu hanya pernikahan untuk menguatkan posisi Gaya. Cheon Myeong mengaku bahwa ia benar2 suka dengan rencana itu karena ia telah menaruh Kim Yu Shin dalam hatinya untuk waktu yang lama, sekarang ia baru menyadarinya tapi ia merasa sudah terlambat.

Bi Dam dan Deok Man menemukan obatnya. Mereka berlari kembali kepada Cheon Myeong. Sementara itu, Cheon Myeong berkata biarpun sudah terlambat untuknya, tapi jelas berbeda untuk Deok Man. Deok Man benar2 anak yang malang. Dia tidak pernah hidup dalam identitasnya yang sesungguhnya. Kim Yu Shin khawatir dan meminta Cheon Myeong beristirahat dan jangan bicara terlalu banyak, karena racunnya akan cepat menjalar.

Cheon Myeong berkeras untuk berbicara. Cheon Myeong ingin Yu Shin bersikap baik pada Deok Man dan menjaganya sehingga ia dapat hidup sebagai wanita dan memiliki hidup normal. Lupakan tentang Silla dan Mi Shil dan pergi sejauh mungkin dan hidup sebagai rakyat biasa. Kim Yu Shin harus melakukan itu untuk Cheon Myeong. Cheon Myeong ingin mendengar jawaban Yu Shin. Yu shin segera menjawabnya. Dia berjanji akan melakukan sesuai harapan dan keinginan Cheon Myeong.

Bi Dam mencuri kuda dan membawa Deok Man agar cepat sampai ke tempat Cheon Myeong. Cheon Myeong memberikan sisir batu jade miliknya pada Yu shin dan meminta Yu Shin memberikannya pada Deok Man. Cheon Myeong menyebut putranya Kim Chun Chu, apa yang akan terjadi dengannya. Kim Chun Chu lemah secara fisik dan sangat baik hati tapi tidak berpengalaman. Dia takut bahwa semua orang akan memperalat putranya. Apa yang akan terjadi dengannya. Cheon Myeong menangis ia ingin bertemu Deok Man.

Bi Dam dan Deok Man melarikan kuda mereka. Deok Man terpeleset saat mendaki ke arah gua, tapi ia merasa tidak enak dan bergegas ke arah gua. Lalu di mulut gua, ia melihat Al Cheon yang membawa Jeon Do Cho herbal menjatuhkan obat itu ke tanah. Deok Man bertanya mengapa Al Cheon menjatuhkan obatnya. Al Cheon mengepalkan tinjunya dan diam. Deok Man berteriak pada Al Cheon : "Apa yang terjadi!" Deok Man menyadari Cheon Myeong sudah meninggal dunia, tapi ia menyangkalinya.

Deok Man berlari ke arah gua dan melihat wajah Cheon Myeong tertutup kain. Deok Man tidak percaya dan menjatuhkan obatnya. Yu Shin berlutut di dekat jenazah Cheon Myeong. Deok Man masih bertanya apa yang terjadi pada Cheon Myeong. Deok Man berlari ke arah Cheon Myeong dan Yu shin menghentikannya. Deok Man berusaha melepaskan diri dan pergi ke dekat Cheon Myeong. Al Cheon dan Bi Dam di pintu masuk. Deok Man memegang tangan Cheon Myeong tapi terjatuh dengan berat. Deok Man membuka penutup wajahnya dan terisak melihat Cheon Myeong yang sudah tidak bernyawa. Bahkan Bi Dam dan Al Cheon tidak tahan melihat kesedihan Deok Man. Kim Yu shin berusaha menghiburnya tapi Deok Man berteriak agar yu Shin melepaskannya. Deok Man meratapi Cheon Myeong.

Seol Won Rang bertanya pada Dae Nam Bo siapa yang memerintahnya. Seol Won tidak sabar dan mengarahkan pedang ke arah leher Dae Nam Bo. Seol Won tahu bahwa Dae Nam Bo tidak menerima perintah dari Mi Shil. Mi Shil tidak pernah memberi perintah yang kontradiksi satu sama lain. Dae Nam Bo akhirnya mengatakan semuanya. Seo Ri dan ayahnya, Mi Saeng yang menyuruhnya membunuh Deok Man. Dae Nam Bo yakin Deok Man sudah mati.

Deok Man memandangi jenazah kakaknya. Kim Yu shin mengambil kain untuk menutupi Cheon Myeong. Bi dam dan Al Cheon menaikkan jenazah Cheon Myeong ke atas perahu. Al Cheon berkata mereka tidak dapat meninggalkan jenazah Putri di sini begitu saja. Dia akan kembali ke Seorabeol dengan jenazahnya. Kim Yu Shin berkata ia juga harus pergi, tapi Al Cheon mengingatkan pesan Putri pada Yu Shin. YU Shin bertanya apa yang akan dilakukan Al Cheon. Al Cheon akan membawa jenazah Cheon Myeong ke istana dan akan memberikan kesaksiannya sebagai Hwarang seperti yang telah ia lihat. Al Cheon berkata pada Yu Shin, mungkin mereka tidak akan pernah bertemu lagi. Al cheon memeluk Yu Shin (Tirza : Did I mention I like this guy before? He's definitely a loyal buddy.) Bi Dam mulai mendayung perahu.

Seol Won mengumpulkan anak buahnya. Mereka harus mengenali jasad Deok Man sebelum kembali ke Seorabeol. Kim seo Hyeon menahan Seol won Rang. Kim Seo Hyeon berkata bahwa masalahnya sudah selesai dan sebaiknya mereka menghentikan pencarian. Seol Won merasa tidak mengerti. Kim Seo Hyeon berkata jika Seol won terus maju, mungkin akan terjadi insiden.

Seol Won minta Kim Seo Hyeon minggir. Kedua belah pihak siap bertempur, saat Im Jong melihat Al Cheon berjalan mendekat dengan menari sebuah gerobak dan mendekati mereka. Al Cheon berkata ia telah meninggal dunia. Dae Nam Bo berpikir bahwa jenazah itu adalah Deok Man dan senang. Seol won Rang bertanya siapa yang sudah meninggal dunia. Al Cheon : "Putri Cheon Myeong" seol Won Rang kaget sekali dan membuka kain penutup jenazah dan shock karena memang benar itu adalah Cheon Myeong!

Kim Seo Hyeon tidak percaya apa yang terjadi. Seol won Rang dan anak buahnya berlutut di depan Cheon Myeong dan Kim Seo Hyeon mendekat dan juga berlutut. Im jOng dan Bo Jong segera menaiki kuda dan pergi untuk mengirim kabar kematian Cheon Myeong.

Raja Jinpyeong shock berat saat Eul Jae mengabarkan berita ini. Raja benar2 murka dan Eul Jae mencoba menenangkan Raja. Raja menatap Im Jong dan memintanya mengulang perkataannya. Raja merenggut kerah baju Im Jong dan marah. Eul Jae menenangkan Baginda. Raja bergumam dalam penyangkalan dan ia menyalahkan dirinya. Ratu Maya mendengar mengenai kematian Cheon Myeong dari Putri Man Myeong. Ratu merasa pasti berita itu salah. Putri Man Myeong menegaskan bahwa Cheon Myeong sedang dibawa kembali ke Seorabeol. Putri Man Myeong menangis. Ratu Maya jatuh pingsan.

Bo Jong menyampaikan informasi kematian Cheon Myeong pada Mi Shil. Semua kaget. Bo Jong berkata bahwa Putri Cheon Myeong menemui ajalnya di Iseo distrik. Jenazahnya sedang dibawa pulang ke Seorabeol. Bo Jong berkata untuk detilnya mereka harus menunggu Seol Won Rang.

Mi Shil berkata bahwa mereka hanya dapat diam saja. Insiden seperti ini belum pernah terjadi sebeumnya. Akan ada bencana di pihak mereka. Mi Shil memperlihatkan ketakutan di wajahnya.

Seo Ri kaget saat tahu justru Cheon Myeong yang mati. Mi Saeng datang dan mengeluh apa yang harus mereka lakukan sekarang. Mi saeng tidak dapat menerima bahwa yang meninggal ternyata Cheon Myeong.

Di kuil Wyol Cheon, Hwa Rang lain memperoleh informasi bahwa Putri Cheon Myeong meninggal. Mereka semua tidak percaya dan kembali ke Seorabeol. Joo Bang dan Go Do mendengar bahwa Cheon Myeong meninggal dunia. So Hwa bereaksi dengan berita itu.

Eul Jae menemukan Kim Yong Chu menangis. Eul Jae menyalahkan dirinya sendiri atas tragedi ini. Dia akan mengambil semua tanggung jawab atas kematian Putri. Eul Jae meminta Kim Yong Chu untuk mengirim berita ke Sui (Cina) untuk memanggil Kim Chun Chu ke Silla. Eul jae berkata ia akan bertanggung jawab penuh tapi saat ini ia harus mengirim pesan pada Kim Chun Chu.

Mi Shil menghentikan semua aktivitas mereka. Se Jong berkata Dewan pasti akan menunda semua urusan karena istana berduka. Ha Jong berkata mereka dapat bertanggung jawab atau biarkan saja Seol Won Rang yang bertanggung jawab atas insiden ini. Se Jong menatap pada putranya, Ha Jong bertanya apa aku salah?

Bi Dam membuat makanan dan menawarkan pada Yu Shin. Yu Shin harus makan. Bi Dam menawarkan makanan pada Deok Man tapi melihat keanehan pada Deok Man. Deok Man gemetaran. Bi Dam memanggil Yu Shin dan berkata Deok Man terlihat aneh. Kim Yu shin melihat Deok Man dan menyadari Deok Man demam. Yu Shin membuka bajunya dan membungkus Deok Man dengan bajunya. Ia minta Bi Dam memberikan bajunya juga. Yu Shin minta Bi Dam mencari air. Kim Yu shin memeluk Deok Man untuk membuat Deok Man hangat.


Seorabeol menyiapkan pemakaman. Ratu Maya jatuh sakit. Raja menemani Ratu. Ratu menyalahkan Raja. Jika saja Raja bukan anggota Kerajaan maka mereka pasti akan bisa hidup bahagia dengan putri kembar mereka. Ini adalah akibat dari ia membuang putrinya yang lain dan akhirnya Cheon Myeong yang harus membayar semua dosa mereka. Ini semua untuk melindungi Ratu Maya dari rencana Mi shil. Ratu mengerti itu tapi mulai sekarang Raja tidak akan mampu melindunginya. Raja tahu ia sudah gagal.

Kim Yu Shin merawat Deok Man, tapi ia ketiduran. Saat terbangun Yu shin tidak menemukan Deok Man. Yu Shin mencari Deok Man. Deok Man duduk di dekat air terjun. Kim Yu Shin lega melihatnya, ia mendekat dan memegang dahi Deok Man dan demamnya turun. Deok Man sudah sakit selama 3 hari. Bagi Yu Shin satu hari seperti 100 tahun. Kim Yu Shin menyampaikan pesan terakhir Cheon Myeong untuk Deok Man. Cheon Myeong kecewa karena Deok Man tidak didekatnya saat itu. Kim Yu Shin memberikan sisir Cheon Myeong pada Deok Man. Deok Man tidak mengambilnya, tapi Kim yu Shin meletakkan sisir itu di tangan Deok Man. Cheon Myeong ingin Deok Man hidup seperti wanita dan orang pada umumnya. Deok Man harus melupakan Silla dan Mi Shil dan pergi jauh dan hidup bahagia. Kim Yu Shin berkata Deok Man harus menghormati keinginan dan pesan terakhir Cheon Myeong.

Synopsis/summary of Episode 24

Dae Nam Bo already found the location of where Deok Man is hiding as he kept surveillance the thatcher house. Deok Man bids farewell to Cheon Myeong with embraces, it pains those who witness the emotions of the sister’s parting. Both sisters holding in tight embrace. Dae Nam Bo cadre came to inform that Deok Man & others are in thatcher house. Dae Nam Bo asked his cadre to keep surveillance on Bo Jong’s men. Dae Nam Bo goes closer to the thatcher house. As they approach the thatcher house, Al Cheon opens the door & asked if it isn’t Dae Nam Bo & surprise Dae Nam Bo. Cheon Myeong comes out from the thatcher house & Dae Nam Bo greets her. Cheon Myeong asked on his purpose of this visit & asked whether he came her for pleasure trip. Dae Nam Bo confirm that he is & convey the same question to Cheon Myeong. Cheon Myeong replied as a short excursion visit to savour the scenery & asked Al Cheon to leave with her. Cheon Myeong & Al Cheon walks casually away. Then one of Dae Nam Bo notices the smoke signal over at the direction of Yangji Village

Dae Nam Bo decided to follow & track Cheon Myeong & send his cadre to investigate the smoke signal at Yangji Village. Meanwhile Seok Bum tells that the whole mountain in crowded with their men & yet no one had give any smoke signals. Then one of the cadre spotted the smoke signals as Bo Jong exclaimed that they must have been found. Seok Bum said that it is coming from the Northeast direction of Yangji Village, as they go for the direction of the smoke. Meanwhile it is Bi Dam who is making the smoke signal as a diversion. Bi Dam thinks that it is such fun making smoke signal as he wanted to do something like this for a long time. There is one of Al Cheon’s cadre accompany him. Bi Dam asked whether the Nang Do always do such activities like this, moving in such stealth movement. Bi Dam queries the cadre why the Deok Man & others are looking so sad & gloomy & why is the reason behind that Deok Man is impostering as a man. The tight lipped cadre tells that Bi Dam had done sufficient enough on the smoke signal & they should move along. Bi Dam asked why these people are so clam tight with this mouth that they don’t pass any information to feed his curiousity

Al Cheon escorting Cheon Myeong as Dae Nam Bo follows them closely as they went to another remote thatcher roof house. After a while what seem to be Cheon Myeong & Al Cheon comes out of the thatcher roof house. Dae Nam Bo goes closer to the thatcher roof house & goes to investigate the inside of the house only to find Al Cheon & Cheon Myeong had switch places. Al Cheon give chase but he is kicked by Dae Nam Bo who goes after Deok Man & Kim Yu Shin as Cheon Myeong runs out to shout warning that there is danger & look out & run away. Deok Man & Kim Yu Shin who in disguise as Cheon Myeong & Al Cheon turns around. Dae Nam Bo tries to aim an arrow at the fleeing Deok Man as Dae Nam Bo draw his bow. Al Cheon had no choice but to hurl a stone like a baseball at Dae Nam Bo, the arrow flies as Kim Yu Shin & Deok Man tries to avoid the arrow & misstep, lose balance & roll down a steep slope. Al Cheon tries to take down the fleeing Dae Nam Bo.

Meanwhile Bo Jong’s men finds that the smoke signal is a false alarm, then Bi Dam left some words on the ground calling them dumb wit. Bo Jong said that they had been duped tricked. Seok Bum said that they are dumfounded on what happened. Bo Jong orders none of the cadre move in their position & stay as they are

The cadre reports that the smoke signal near Yangji village was a literally a diversion to lead them to take the bait. In the temple Dae Nam Bo went in pursuit of Deok Man trying to escape by disguising in Princess Cheon Myeong’ clothing. Seol Won Rang reprimand that if Deok Man is discover to send the smoke signal immediately to tell them of the location. The cadre said that the situation came up so sudden so they didn’t have the time. Seol Won Rang queries why Baek Ho Bi Do gone to the temple investigate, when they were supposed to be ask to look at the northwest side of Geumak village. The cadre has no other knowledge & asked Seol Won Rang to hurry to the location

Cheon Myeong & Al Cheon goes looking for Kim Yu Shin as they call out for them. Kim Yu Shin comes out of hiding as Al Cheon notices him. Cheon Myeong goes to him & asked for Deok Man’s whereabout. Kim Yu Shin said that Deok Man is alright & asked them to come with him. Al Cheon & Cheon Myeong follow some distance as Deok Man had already changed back to her Nang Do uniform & greets Cheon Myeong. Deok Man still address Cheon Myeong as Her Highness as Cheon Myeong great concern about Deok Man’s well being as Deok Man is equally concern about Cheon Myeong as Cheon Myeong said that she is also fine. Kim Yu Shin asked about Dae Nam Bo but Al Cheon inform that Dae Nam Bo got away during their struggle but warns that he is carrying poison arrows

Deok Man in her heart calls Cheon Myeong Unnie. Deok Man grabs Cheon Myeong’s hands & then embrace each other. Bi Dam said that they are taking too much time in the mushy departure & shouts to them to hurry up on to the boat as they don’t have the time to be hugging & crying all day. Cheon Myeong sends Deok Man off onto the boat. Meanwhile Dae Nam Bo finds them & is ready to aim one of his poison arrows, since he was in a great distance he could see clearly who is whom, he had to make a decision who to shoot. Dae Nam Bo assume that Deok Man is still wearing Cheon Myeong’s clothes in disguise, so take aim at Cheon Myeong thinking that it is Deok Man. Bi Dam hurry Deok Man to come aboard the boat. Cheon Myeong turns as Deok Man tries to call Cheon Myeong but hesitates & board the boat. Dae Nam Bo takes aim & shoots Cheon Myeong in the chest. All the others was shocked to see that Cheon Myeong is shot by an arrow & goes to her aid. Al Cheon & Kim Yu Shin runs to support her as Deok Man looks around for any assailant. Bi Dam asked them to bring Cheon Myeong on board the boat at once. Kim Yu Shin shouts retreat. The another arrow strike the mast of the boat, where Bi Dam goes to shoot numerous arrow as a projectile missile using his leg as leverage & one of the arrow shot Dae Nam Bo. Bi Dam rows away with the boat

Meanwhile in Seorabeol, King Jinpyeong asked for any news from Cheon Myeong as Eul Jae said they haven’t received any news as yet. Queen Maya comes running shouting for King Jinpyeong that she just had a horrible nightmare & she has an ill feeling. Queen Maya tries to fish for any news. King Jinpyeong tries to calm his wife down. Queen Maya has a premonition that something ill must have happened. King Jinpyeong assure his wife that nothing has happened & asked whether she to take her medication

Cheon Myeong wants Kim Yu Shin to hold her hand for courage. Kim Yu Shin dutifully holds Cheon Myeong’s hand. Meanwhile Deok Man & Bi Dam racing to the market place to get the medicine. She now fears that everybody will be out trying to reap & use her son for their benefit & gain. What she is going to do for him. Cheon Myeong looks at the night sky as she looks at her surrounding & cries that she want to see Deok Man

Bi Dam & Deok Man racing back on horseback with the medicine as Deok Man holds tightly to the packets. Deok Man trips while climbing to the cave but had a feeling overcome her as she race to the cave. Then at the entrance Deok Man sees Al Cheon grips hold at Jeon Do Cho herbs then flung it on the ground as Deok Man asked why he is throwing those away & asked what is the matter. Al Cheon clench his fist & silence. Deok Man pester Al Cheon to ask what has happened. Deok Man reading the expression of Al Cheon’s face she already knew that Cheon Myeong had passed away but in the state of denial as she rushes into the cave & to see that Cheon Myeong’s face is already covered. Deok Man is disbelieve as she drop the packets of medicine as Kim Yu shin is kneeling before the body of Cheon Myeong. Deok Man still asked Kim Yu Shin on what has happened with Cheon Myeong. Deok Man runs to Cheon Myeong to call her as Kim Yu Shin stops her in her tracks as she struggles Kim Yu Shin’s hold & goes to Cheon Myeong’s side. Al Cheon & Bi Dam are in the entrance . Deok Man takes Cheon Myeong’s hand but it slip & drop heavy on her side; lifeless. Deok Man remove her face cover as Deok Man chocked in tears & emotion seeing a lifeless Cheon Myeong. Even Al Cheon & Bi Dam can’t stand the sight the Deok Man’s sadness & grief. Kim Yu Shin tries to comfort her but she scream to be release of her hold. Deok Man wailing for Cheon Myeong

The injured Dae Nam Bo demands why Bo Jong & Seok Bum is treating unkindly. Seol Won Rang comes in to ask who & what was his order. Bo Jong tells that Dae Nam Bo, had left his assigned position & acted out on his own accord. Seok Bum said that although Dae Nam Bo had found Deok Man but yet he didn’t send the intend smoke signal to alert the rest of the party. Bo Jong asked what was his order as Seol Won Rang demands what Dae Nam Bo had done. Seol Won Rang impatient draws Bo Jong swords & press the blade at Dae Nam Bo’s neck to demand that Dae Nam Bo tells the truth that Dae Nam Bo can acts with such impudence just because he is Mi Saeng’s son & his close relationship Mi Shil. Seol Won Rang know by now that Dae Nam Bo’s order & dispatch didn’t come from Mi Shil. Mi Shil had never once given an order that will contradict any other order later. If by chance that his order didn’t come down from Mi Shil, he is good as dead. Seol Won Rang said that his demise in inevitable before they return to Seorabeol & interrogates Dae Nam Bo or who gave you the order. Dae Nam Bo blurt out like a singing canary that he was under the orders of Se Ri, the high priestess & his father Mi Saeng. Seol Won Rang asked the content of the orders. Seol Won Rang still doesn’t understand what Kim Seo Hyeon is implying about & asked Kim Seo Hyeon to just carry on with his excursion of his hunting trip.

Kim Seo Hyeon warns that all roads ahead leading in the future may be a difficult one, so it is best that to put a halt to the matter. Seol Won Rang asked Kim Seo Hyeon to move aside & let them pass as both of them attempts to draw their arms & tense situation, when Im Jong notices that Al Cheon is pulling a cart as he makes his way & approaching them. Seol Won Rang asked if it isn’t Al Cheon doing here in these parts. Al Cheon tells that she has passed away. Dae Nam Bo thinks that the body in the cart is Deok Man & is glad. Seol Won Rang asked who had passed away. Al Cheon replies that it is Princess Cheon Myeong had mat her demise & Seol Won Rang is surprise & goes to the cart to uncover the cover to finds Cheon Myeong’s body & is shocked at the discovery that it is indeed Cheon Myeong

Kim Seo Hyeon disbelieve on what they had just say that it is Princess Cheon Myeong. Seol Won Rang & his men kneel before Cheon Myeong as Kim Seo Hyeon approach the cart to have a closer look as they also kneel before Cheon Myeong

Im Jong & Bo Jong race back on horseback to tell of the news to their respective camps on Cheon Myeong’s demise. King Jinpyeong shocked at the news as Eul Jae confirms what Im Jong has just said that who had died. Im Jong repeats that it is Princess Cheon Myeong who has met her demise at Iseo district & passed away. King Jinpyeong denies that news & said that Im Jong must have got his facts wrong. Im Jong conform that Cheon Myeong indeed passed away. King Jinpyeong is clearly upset as Eul Jae tries to calm King Jinpyeong down. King Jinpyeong stood up & look at Im Jong to asked him to repeat what he had just said truthfully on what he had just said. Im Jong repeats that Cheon Myeong has passed away. by the collar to tell him the truth. King Jinpyeong shouts whether what he had just said make any sense that Cheon Myeong did why or has how & grabs Im Jong by the collar & asked Im Jong whether he is trying to ridicule insults at his sovereign King. Eul Jae trying to calm the upset King Jinpyeong down. King Jinpyeong mutters in denial that all this is a mistake & this cannot be happening & none of this makes any sense that how could Cheon Myeong die & just how can she. Queen Maya learn of Cheon Myeong’s demise from princess Man Myeong & deny that they had made a mistake on the information. Princess Man Myeong tells that Cheon Myeong is now being escorted back to Seorabeol as they speak as Princes Man Myeong wails in tears. Queen Maya collapse & faints as Princess Man Myeong call out for help from the maids & asked them to call the physician

Bo Jong informed Mi Shil’s camp about Cheon Myeong demise. Ha Jong is shocked that who had died as Bo Jong inform them. Mi Saeng is just as shocked that what Bo Jong had just said. Bo Jong repeats that Princess Cheon Myeong has met her demise on a mountain side in Iseo district. Her body is being escorted back here from Iseo district office as we speak. Mi Shil doesn’t take the news in high regards. Se Jong is shocked that Cheon Myeong has passed away & did she. Mi Saeng disbelieve that just how this could this happening. Bo Jong said that for further details, they will have to wait for Seol Won Rang to brief them on his return.

Ha Jong is distraught that why did Princess Cheon Myeong die. Mi Saeng can only mutter that just how could something like this be happening. Mi Shil with the clear head asked Bo Jong to convey to Seol Won Rang that all activities should put to a grinding halt & return to Seorabeol. Se Jong insists that Deok Man’s whereabouts is still unknown. Mi Shil said that they can only lie low like mole as the best stratagem for them. Incident like this has never happened to them before. There will be a great calamity that may sure befall on them & is surging its way towards them. Mi Shil had fear written on her face.

Seo Ri sat down heavily on her altar & shocked to find that Cheon Myeong is dead. Mi Saeng comes only to mutter what are they suppose to do now since Cheon Myeong is dead & Mi Saeng can’t accept that Cheon Myeong was the one who die. Seo Ri resign with a sigh that it looks as if it is the time for her to step down.

In Wyol Cheon’s temple, the other Hwa Rang are inform of Cheon Myeong’s demise & are shocked & asking the cadre on the details of her death They are in disbelieve to find out that Princess Cheon Myeong has passed away. The cadre reporting said that he doesn’t know the exact details but her body will be arriving at Seorabeol tomorrow morning. One of the Hwa Rang said that how can something like this happen & what will be the after math of this incident. The cadre said that Pungwolju has order them to return to Hwa rang for further despatch at Seorabeol

Joo Bang & Go Do overhears them speaking that Cheon Myeong has passed away & So Hwa had a reaction to the news. Joo Bang asked what is going on & Go Do asked why is so sudden & what are they going to do now

Eul Jae finds Kim Yong Chu crying that what they suppose that they will do now. Eul Jae blames himself for the death of Cheon Myeong & it is his fault but however he will certainly take full responsibility for her death. Eul Jae ask that Kim Yong Chu should send message to Sui (China) to recall Kim Chun Chu to Silla. Kim Yong Chu asked whether Eul Jae had any remorse or responsibility over the mishandling of the incident that in the time like this, still plotting for the next course of action. Eul Jae said that he is taking full responsibility but at this moment they need to send message to Kim Chun Chu as the best stratagem

Mi Shil wants all halt & abort on their activities. Se Jong wants confirmation. Mi Shil said that she is referring about the Hwa Baek Council to prove that the twins’ existence, she wants to give it a halt & make certainly sure they abort the plans & no one brings up this matter in the future. Se Jong said that it is naturally out of courtesy that Hwabaek Council will be postponed indefinitely as a mark of respect due to national mourning but the matter will have to bring up after the mourning period is over. Mi Shil said that it is difficult to judge or predict the course ahead in the future for them may be. In regardless of any circumstances evidence that surrounding Cheon Myeong’s death, they wouldn’t be left off from their responsibility as being a part of it. Ha Jong said that it should be them who had to take responsibility but it should be just Seol Won Rang who had to take full responsibility for this incident in Iseo district incident. Bo Jong glare at Ha Jong as Ha Jong asked whether he is wrong in stating that as a fact as it is the truth.

Mi Shil asked everybody to stop this bickers, as for now they must take up defensive position & make sure that all subordinates who serves under them keep their silence. Mi Shil caution Ha Jong as he must act with prudence in everything that comes from his mouth of his. Ha Jong assures his mother that he will do so but ha Jong still curious that this incident doesn’t make any sense to him at all why the sudden demise of Cheon Myeong. Mi Shil is seen slightly shaken by Cheon Myeong’s death. Se Jong will adhere Mi Shil’s advice & postpone the Hwabaek council indefinitely relay this to the nobles. Mi Shil asked MI Saeng as the Minister of Rites to prepare diligently & carefully, so this State funeral can proceed without a mistakes. Mi Saeng adhere his sister’s instruction & they also need to convey a message to Kim Chun Chu who is now residing in Sui China. Ha Jong asked why do they need to inform Kim Chun Chu. King Jinpyeong will be the person to inform Kim Chun Chu

Mi Shil said that they must the people seen to be the ones to bring back Kim Chun Chu to Silla. They need to make haste on the matter & asked who they should send to. Bo Jong suggest that he will do it when Mi Saeng interrupts Bo Jong to send Dae Nam Bo to Sui China to get Kim Chun Chu to return & insist that Dae Nam Bo is to be send to Sui China & will dispatch Dae Nam Bo & his Baek Ho Bi Do’s cadre to China at once when he returns. Mi Saeng plea with Bo Jong to let it pass as Mi Shil approve to send Dae Nam Bo. Mi Shil sends her people to carry on with their work. Mi Shil in her heart tells that Cheon Myeong, at last had save the Royal Household in her death & this bout Cheon Myeong had win over Mi Shil as Mi Shil admitted & conceit the defeat to Cheon Myeong

Bi Dam roasting some fowl & offers the fowl to Kim Yu Shin. Bi Dam said although he know what Kim Yu Shin is feeling right now but he still need to nourish himself. Kim Yu Shin wasn’t keen as Bi Dam takes a bite & asked what are they going to do next. Kim Yu Shin is none of his concern & he should be on his merry way from here. Bi Dam offers a fowl to Deok Man but find something amiss about her as Deok Man is shaking like a leave & call out to Kim Yu Shin that Deok Man is looking a little strange. Kim Yu Shin turns around & calls to Deok Man who is having a slight fits with fever as Kim Yu shin takes off his clothes to warm Deok Man’s body, so too is Bi Dam. Kim Yu Shin asked Bi Dam to fetch some water as BI Dam understand & goes to get some water. Kim Yu Shin use his own body heat for Deok Man by hugging her for body warm

Seorabeol prepare for a State funeral. Queen Maya ill in bed as King Jinpyeong is accompany her. Queen Maya blames King Jinpyeong that he is all his fault. King Jinpyeong asked his wife why she is saying that. Queen Maya said that if they weren’t part of the Royal household then it wouldn’t have matter if she had borne twins. This is retribution from abandoning their own infant child & in the end Cheon Myeong paid her life for their sins. If King Jinpyeong would have relinquished his throne & handed Silla to Mi Shil then everything would have turned out alright & they had a happy family. Queen Maya asked what have they gain from this by fighting & battling. King Jinpyeong said that everything was done in order to protect Queen Maya from Mi Shil’s scheme. Queen Maya knows that for the fact with such bitterness but however from now & here onwards, he wouldn’t able even protect me anymore. King Jinpyeong know that he had failed miserably

Kim Yu Shin nursing Deok Man but he dozed off as he wakes up & wanting to cool down her fever, he finds her missing from bed & goes calling out for her in search for Deok Man. Deok Man sitting overlooking the water fall. Kim Yu Shin relief to see her & approaches her & touches her forehead to find that her fever had resided & ask if she is feeling better that she was ill for 3 days and nights. For him that each day seems to feel as though it was like 100 years. Kim Yu Shin tells about Cheon Myeong’s dying words that she had worried about Deok Man until the very end of her breathe. Cheon Myeong was disappointed that Deok Man wasn’t on her dead side bed. Kim Yu Shin pass Deok Man the comb that Cheon Myeong asked him to convey to Deok Man. Deok Man doesn’t take it but Kim Yu Shin put the comb in her hand. Kim Yu Shin continues that Cheon Myeong so wanted for Deok Man to live as a woman & wanted for Deok Man to live her life as normal & ordinary person. Kim Yu Shin said that Cheon Myeong mentioned that Deok Man has never lived her own life under her own terms & decision & choosing. Kim Yu Shin asked Deok Man to forget about Silla & Mi Shil & to go far distance away, & live like a normal person should in happiness. Kim Yu Shin tells that what Cheon Myeong had said. Kim Yu Shin said that Deok man must make sure Deok Man you would honour & respect & abide the princess’ final words. Cheon Myeong had made him promise as she repeated the same words over and over again.
