Sebelum nasi menjadi bubur terus afundi pelajar kegemaran kita ye!!

Dalam Diari Akademi Fantasia 6 minggu kedua dihari keempat kita akan dapat menyaksikan bagaimana para pelajar akademi bertungkus lumus berlatih lagu tugasan mereka. Dua hari lagi sebelum konsert kedua berlangsung.

RESULTS OF AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 7 TOP 10 - WHO WILL BE AMERICAN IDOL TOP 9 SEASON 7 TO PERFORM NEXT WEEK

All the top ten contestants of American Idol Season 7 have already performed the Theme Songs The Year They Were Born. Since they were all born in the 1980's they chose the songs from those years to perform this week except for David Archuleta who sang the song from the 90's as he was the only one who was born in the 1990's.

All of them performed well this week but one would have to be eliminated from the top ten finalists and next week only nine of them will be performing. Who will have to pack his/her bag and headed home leaving American Idol for this season?

As always, the most anxious part is when the results going to be announced. To refresh your memories, here are the songs that the top ten finalists performed yesterday over Astro Channel 711, StarWorld. What the judges had to say about their performance?

Ramiele Malubay - 1987’s “Alone” by Heart
Jason Castro - 1987’s “Fragile” by Sting
Syesha Mercado - 1987’s “If I Were Your Woman” by Stephanie Mills
Chikezie - 1985’s “If Only For One Night” by Luther Vandross
Brooke White - 1983’s “Every Breath You Take” by The Police
Michael Johns - 1978’s “We Are the Champions” by Queen
Carly Smithson - 1983’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler
David Archuleta - 1990’s “You’re the Voice” by David Foster interview
Kristy Lee Cook - 1984’s “God Bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood
David Cook - 1983’s “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson

Ramiele Malubay: Hearts Alone

Sapphire Blu: Ramilele started off with her performance by Hearts "Alone" as she was born in 1987. Her voice has always been soothing and nice to hear.
Randy: It was the wrong choice of song and the song was a little too big of a song. A little pitchy.
Paula : You are not feeling well and I think you have a big talent. I am going to give you a tremendous amount of credit to do what you did because you’re sick
Simon: I did not think that it was as bad as what Randy said. You are going to get through.

Jason Castro: Fragile

Jason was the second finalist who also sang the song from 1987 "Fragile" by Sting.
Sapphire Blu: Jason was born in 1987 as well and today is his birthday. Happy birthday To You Jason though you do not know who I am! To me you are great.
Randy: It was nice song of choice and it was pleasant. I liked the little Spanish touch.
Paula: I think you are staying true to who you are and you are going to be safe.
Simon: I think you really need to take this a little more seriously as you already had two bad weeks. I thought you maybe too laid back. You are too much in your own world and you’re not going to be a winner if you keep doing that

Syesha Mercado: If I Was Your Woman

She was born in 1987. She sang “If I Were Your Woman” by Staphanie Mills.
Sapphire Blu: To me I think it was a good choice of song for Syesha and I hope to hear her sing more of thest type of songs. Her vocal was strong in this song and I am sure to see her perform again the following week.
Randy: I think this is the best I have ever heard you sing.
Paula: This is going to be the moments that everyone going to remember when Syesha flipped it and the dark horse going to sail through.
Simon: I think there is a limit on your vocals and I don’t think the end was as good as Randy thought.

Chikezie Eze: If Only For One Night

Chikezie Eze was born in 1985 and sang “If Only For One Night” by Luther Vandross.
Sapphire Blu: I prefer to hear him songs for the past weeks compared to this week. There is something that is lack in him but I do not know how to describle it. This was definately not my favourite kind of song from him.
Randy: I didn’t love this for you and it was very old school.
Paula: I disagree with what Randy says. I think that you did a great job.
Simon: I think you sang it well that and being said that I think the performance was cheesy. You have to show originality. I miss your personality.

Brooke White: Every Breath You Take

Since Brooke was born in 1983 so she chose to sing the song “Every Breath You Take” by the Police.
Sapphire Blu: Throughout the song I was glued to the hall sofa as I really enjoyed her performance. Good choice of song and I am sure she will be in the top nine when the results is announced. She is a great singer and I like hearing her voice. It was awesome when she sang the song with a style of her own.
Randy: It was just okay to me.
Paula: I enjoyed the performance. It was great.
Simon: If you had just stayed with you on the piano and it was good enough to keep you in for another week. I thought the first part was fantastic.

Michael Johns: We Will Rock You

Michael was born in 1978 and he chose to sing a different kind of song instead and the song was a medley of “We Will Rock You” & “We Are the Champions” by Queen.
Sapphire Blu: I loved the song and how he performed it. I could felt that the audience enjoyed the song too to the end.
Randy: Finally you believed in yourself and I think that was best performance since you’ve been on the show.
Paula: This was your shining moment. I’m so proud of you.
Simon: This is the first time with you I have seen star potential and tonight you just got it right” “you looked like a front person and you were confident. For me it was the only memorable performance of the night so far

Carly Smithson: Total Eclipse of the Heart

Carly was born in 1983 and chose to sing “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler.
Sapphire Blu: I used to love this song so much during the 1980's. I have been playing this song over and over again whenever I on the cassette but now I thought this song is just a nice oldie. She performed well with this song and then I thought I would like to hear it again from my cd collections. She made the song alive to me again.
Randy: It is a very interesting song choice, I like it but didn’t love it. It wasn’t quite the right song choice.
Paula: I love what you did at the end. Carly, you can do no wrong tonight.
Simon: Something didn’t quite work tonight. You have got to lighten up a little bit.

David Archeluta: You’re the Voice

David Archuleta was the only born in the 1990's so he chose to sing “Your The Voice” by David Foster.
Sapphire Blu: Many people have high expectations on David as he is one of the favourites for this season American Idol. I have not heard of this song before and I think he sang the song nice and well.
Randy: It was a strange song choice for me but it proves once again that you can sing whatever
song. It was nice, I don't know the song but it was nice.
Paula: David you could sing the phone book and we’d fall in love with you.
Simon: I thought it was reminiscent of of a theme park performance.

Kristy Lee Cook: God Bless The USA

Kristy was born in 1984 and she chose to sing “God Bless The U.S.A.” by Lee Greenwood.
Sapphire Blu: I was so afraid that Kristy would be in the bottom three again this week but after hearing her performance yesterday, I was so touched with the way she performed the song. It was the right choice of song for her and I am sure she will be in the top 9 for American Idol 7.
Randy: Other than some pitchy spots I thought it was a good performance.
Simon: Your best performance by a mile. That was the most clever song choice I have heard in years and I thought overall it was a good performance and that’s going to keep you in the competition.

David Cook: Billie Jean

David was born in 1982 and he sang “Billy Jean” by Michael Jackson.

Sapphire Blu: This was a hit song from the 1980's and I used to like it very much. I liked the way David sang this song too. It was nice.
Randy: You are the most original and bold contestant we have ever had.
Paula: I’m blown away. I think you’re brilliant.
Simon: That was brave. It could have been insane or amazing and I have to tell you that was amazing.

I still have so much to say about how the top ten finalist of American Idol Season 7 performed but I have to continue with my updates and let you know the results of who was eliminated this week and couldn't make it to the top 9 of American Idol 7.

This Week’s Bottom Three:

Chikezie Eze

Syesha Mercado

Jason Castro

I could hardly believed it when Jason Castro was in the bottom three. I was glad he managed to go through for another week and will be performing with the resto of the eight other finalists in the top 9 of America Idol Season 7 next week.

Chikezie was eliminated and had to pack his bag home leaving the rest of the nine finalists of American Idol for this season.

What Sapphire Blu has to say to Chikezie: "Although you were eliminated this week, Chikezie, however I think you still performed well for the past weeks. I loved to see you sing and you have good voice".

A SWIM AT WATERPARK STAMPARK, STUTONG AND WENT FOR MY LUNCH AT DELIGHT CAFE, HUI SING.

Woke up early as usual this morning. I was thinking of whether to go for a swim or not since I have not much mood to do so. Called Waterpark Stampark office to enquire if they washed the pool as normally washing the pool will be on Mondays and Thursday.

At times they will only wash on a Thursday if the pool really gets dirty. One of the staff told me, seemed that today is not a washing day. And this meant that my decision was to "GO". I told myself, just a short while splashing water will do.

Packed my things and on the way there, oops I have forgotten to take my cap. Ish.. got to go back and open the gate and door, wasted lots of time doing that. On reaching Waterpark, Stampark at Stutong it was getting sunny and I was sure the sun will make my skin turned darker. Couldn't care much about those.

Swam for a while about an hour. Tried to practice breathing in free style method. It was not easy to swim. I used to comment those swimmers during competition that some were not that good but now after I experienced myself how to swim, the truth is it is never easy learning swimming as we thought especially "Front Crawl" or "Free Style". We must concentrate on everything at the same time - head, shoulder, hands, body and leg.

Everything must be done correctly and smoothly. Many people kept telling me just relax in the water and everything will be okay. "Air itu lembut, kita tidak boleh menentang arus air". I will always try to remember that and hope the next time I go to Waterpark again I will improve in breathing method of "Free Stlye.

If you have dropped by my blog here, do give me some tips how to improve swimming. Do leave a comment here. Thank you.

On the way home, we dropped by Hui Sing, Delight Cafe and ordered our lunch. Have you taken your lunch? What did you cook today or had for lunch? Do share with me what you had yar!!

Till anaother updates, I have to catch up with the results updates of who will be the next American Idol Top 9 for this season. Do drop by here again. See you soon.
