LYDIA SHUM - WE MISS YOUR JOLLY SMILE

News about the death of Lydia Shum Din-Ha (Sum Tin-Ha) is everywhere. Even as I was waiting for my flight just now I read about her. Still find it hard to believe about the news. When I looked at all her pictures in the newspapers and from the internet, her laughter and her jolly smile is still alive though she is no more around.

Lydia Shum, born in Shanghai, China ( 21 July 1945- 19 February 2008) was one of Hong Kong’s most popular entertainers and a very famous actress and comedienne. Other than that she was also a very good MC in Hong Kong award shows, etc.

When Lydia Shum was still alive, I never really read about her stories about her acting and performance in her entertainment variety shows, etc but now that she has left and no longer be seen on television again, I will read all the things that I can find from the internet about her. TVB Hong Kong entertainment shows will never be the same without Lydia Shum.

A SPECIAL GIFT FOR ME TO SHOW THAT I AM LOVED

Tonight I received a very unique precious gift and it just touches my heart when I opened as I opened the gift. It is one of the happiest moment when I received this special gift. The love shape pillow is so fluffy and I just love it so much. Will treasure this special gift as long as I can. Thank you again for this precious gift.

HAHA THIS IS MY 3RD TIME EATING YEE SANG DURING CNY

Nice leh the picture of yee sang here. Ha ha.. but you have to taste it then you will know the actual result. It is not like what you imagine. The oil that they put does not look fresh and there is a kind of weird smell in it. However they put lots of jelly fish in it and you can nearly taste the jelly fish every mouthful.

It costs RM28. Not cheap at all but what to do, this is he minimum price for yee sang nowadays when you eat outside.

Overall the rating I am giving for this yee sang from 1 to 10 is just a 5. Remember my previous posts that I told you all about my neighbour making very nice and yummy yee sang? Well, just to say again, her yee sang is still the best that I have ever tasted. Thank you to my good neighbour for preparing such wonderful yee sang.

Other than yee sang, we had so called "fried hokkien mi". Guess what's the price? Do you think is enough for us to eat for dinner?

flying back to the east on "chap goh meh" day

After taking D to school, T sent me to the bus station. I already bought two Plusliner tickets for myself and my luggage the previous week and so I did not have to worry about tickets being sold out. Anyway at this hour normally the bus won't be full.

The bus departed from the station on time and since it was still early when I reached Puduraya, thought maybe I would just had a short window shopping at Sogo. Left Sogo around 11.10am and took a cab to KL Central.

It was such a blessing that as soon as I arrived KL Central coincidently one of the Sky Bus was about the moved. The driver opened the door and asked me to get in quickly. So thankful I did not have to wait any longer.

It was an hour journey and when I arrived LCCT i did not wait further and straight away went in to the mini kiosk and self checkin. I was the first person to check in as it was 3 hours before departure time. My stomach was already growling and I had to go and hunt for my food. Now where to eat.. will update what I had for lunch while waiting for the plane in my next post.

some of the passengers busy taking out their luggages.

quick, quick the checkin counters are already opened. Says some of them
