SANTO DOMINGO, October 6, 2009 - Ana Rita Contreras Sosa; 24, 1.70 m, from Bayaguana, was crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana 2009 in a small event held in Santo Domingo.

Ana Rita will represent the Dominican Republic in the Miss World 2009 pageant in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 12.
