Sahin of Turkey wins Men's Freestyle 66kg Wrestling gold - Ramazan Sahin of Turkey claimed the Men's Freestyle 66kg Wrestling title at the Beijing Olympics on Wednesday, beating Leonid Spiridonov of Ukraine 2-1 in the final.The bronze medals went to Otar Tushishvili from Georgia and Sushil Kumar from India.(Thank you and credits to Li Gang/Xinhua Images)

Russians Anastasia Davydova and Anastasia Ermakova won the Synchronized Swimming Duet Free gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games on Wednesday. Spain got the silver and Japan finished third.


August 20, 2008 - World champion Tom Ashley of New Zealand won gold in the Men's RS:X (Windsurfer) with 52 overall points, just one point better than second-place finisher Julien Bontemps of France. Shahar Zubari of Israel finished second in the medal race to grab bronze with 58 points overall and give Israel's its first medal of the Beijing Olympic Games. China's Yin Jian was crowned champion of Women's RS:X (Windsurfer Women) at the Olympic Sailing Regatta on Wednesday, winning China's first ever Olympic Sailing gold. Beijing, August 20, 2008 - Russian open water superstar Larisa Ilchenko took the gold medal in Women's 10km Marathon Swimming in the event's debut Olympic appearance with a time of 1:59:27.7. Keri-Anne Payne of Great Britain won the silver medal, clocking 1:59:29.2. Payne's compatriot Cassandra Patten finished third in 1:59:31.
