THE RESULTS OF THE 2ND. ASEAN FILM AWARDS ON 17TH. MARCH 2008, MONDAY AT THE HONG KONG CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE - Who were the winners? -

Another year has passed by so quickly and before long the second Asian Film Awards is here again. It is said that all together there are 33 films have already competed in this film awards at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre last night, Monday - 17 March 2008. Who were the winner who took the awards home?

There were twelve (12) categories all together during the awards presentation that was held for the second time. The awards categories are for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Film of the year, Best Director, Best Cinematographer, Best Screen Writer, Best Production Designer, Best Composer, Best Editor and Best Visual Effects.

The 2nd.Asian Film Awards is organized by the Hong Kong International Film Festival and the awards presentation went on well last night on Monday.

During the awards presentation that was announced earlier, a special award - the lifetime achievement award went to Japanese director Yoji Yamada

The results of the 2nd Asian Film Awards ceremony that was held on 17th March 2008 are as follows:

Congratulations to all the winners. The movie titled "Secret Sunshine," is a South Korean story about the mental breakdown of a piano teacher named Shin Ae,starring Jeon Do Yeon who has won the Best Actress Award. After the death of her husband in an accident, she moves to her husband's hometow to start a new life.

But the story did not end there. She has to face so many problems, etc... and the story continues...



"SECRET SUNSHINE" or "MILYANG" (directed by Chang-dong Lee in the year 2007 who also won the best director) WON THE BEST MOVIE FOR 2ND. ASIAN FILM AWARDS ON 17TH. MARCH 2008

This is good watch movie and won three awards: For the Best Actor, the Best Actress and the Best Movie at the 2nd Asian Film Awards announced Monday in Hong Kong, won the Best Movie, Best Director award went to Lee Chang-dong and best actress award went to Jeon Do-yeon.
