Thailand wins first edition of the pageant in China

WUHAN, November 8, 2009 - The first edition of the Miss Friendship International contest took place in Wuhan, China, and the winner was Miss Thailand, Kantapat Peeradachainarin, 22. Miss Mongolia, Tugsuu Idersaikhan, was 2nd, followed by Miss Brazil, Daliane Menezes, 3rd, Leva Taraseviciute, Lithuania, 4th, and Taiwan, Xu Qian Hui, 5th.

Completing the top 15 were the candidates from Poland, Korea, Japan, Macau, Czech Republic, Venezuela, Bahamas, Russia and Moldova.

Other Special Awards: Miss Siky Skin - Vietnam; Miss Personality - Armenia; Miss Wisdom - Singapore; Miss Fashionable - Kazakhstan; Best in Catwalk - Shanghai; Best in National Costume - Korea; Miss Photogenic - Greece; Miss Popularity - Czech Republic; Miss Elegance - New Zealand ; Miss Charity - Germany; Best in Swimsuit - Brazil.
