The newly crowned Femina Miss India World 2009, Pooja Chopra will represent the country in Miss World; Chaudhary and Kishiori to Miss Universe and EarthMUMBAI, April 5th – 23-year old Pooja Chopra won the title of Femina Miss India World during an event held on April 5th and telecast live to the whole country.
She stands 1.71 m tall and received the crown from last year's winner, Parvathy Omanakuttan who was 1st runner-up in Miss World 2008.
Pooja Chopra will represent India at the Miss World 2009 contest in Johannesburg, South Africa, next December.
Ekta Chaudhury, 22, was crowned Femina Miss India Universe and will represent the country at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas. She is 1.77 m tall.
Shriya Kishiore was crowned Femina Miss India Earth. The remaining finalists were Harshita Saxena and Irshita Sarkar. DAIJIWORLD
