Fourteen contestants competed in Miss Atlantic International 2009 not long ago and the winner has been announced. She is Eliana Quintero, 22, of Ecuador. She is the newly crowned Miss Atlantic International 2009 in an event held in Punta Del Este, Uruguay.
First runner-up - Reigning Miss Teen Costa Rica, Nazareth Cascante, 18.
2nd. Runner-up - Miss Panama, Karina Pinilla, 23 and she is also the winner of - Best National Costume Award.
