VIVIAN NORONHA CIA OF BRAZIL: THE NEW HISPANIC -AMERICAN QUEEN 2008 ON JANUARY 27, 2009 IN BOLIVIA TAKING OVER THE TITLE WON BY MEXICO'S LAURA ZUNIGA

January 27, 2009, Tuesday - Brazilian beauty queen was crowned this Tuesday in Bolivia.

Santa Cruz, BOLIVIA - Vivian Noronha Cia received today crown and sash of Hispanic-American Queen 2008. She took over the title which was won by Mexico's Laura Zuñiga, last October 30. Laura made worldwide headlines after being spotted in a group of people in possession of guns and a considerable amount of money. She was dethroned as Hispanic-American 2008, and as Miss Mexico International 2009.

Brazil's Vivian Noronha, the new queen, participated in a press conference earlier today, when she received the sash and crown of Hispanic-American Queen 2008. She also signed a contract with Opal to participate at Fexpo 2009, and received an Aerosur travel card which will allow her to travel for free to all Aerosur's destinations during 1 year.

Vivian was welcomed by Gloria and Tatiana Limpias, from Promociones Gloria, and by several Bolivian journalists from all major newspapers in the country.

Vivian Noronha Cia, a 25-year-old model and dentist from Umuarama, Paraná, was the 1st runner-up at Miss World Brazil 2008. She will represent her country at Miss Tourism Queen International 2009, to be held in China.
