With Brooke White eliminated from the American Idol Season 7 on April 30, 2008 Syesha Mercado will be the only female finalist to continue her journey to sing her hearts out trying to sail through to another week.
It is sad to see Brooke White leaving the rest of the finalists but every week one have to go making way to the Top 2 which will be held soon next month. Maybe it was the most tearful elimination of one of the finalists in recent "Idol", Brooke Elise White left "American Idol" last night with tears flowing down her cheeks. What was Brooke White's failing to pass through this week? No one knows and can predict why.
During a conference call, Brooke Elise White said "I can't even believe I made the top 5,". "What an amazing, amazing journey it has been." Brooke White, 24 year old finalist from Arizona managed to sail through with the rest of the Top 4 last wek after forgetting the lyrics during her performance said she had a feeling that she had reached the end of the road but then when she was announced by Ryan Seacrest that she was leaving the American Idol for this season this week, she couldn't help herself from having tears rolling down her cheeks.
From the sources that I read it was said for all the tears she shed on the "American Idol Season 7" results show on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, those are behind her.
Brooke White said "I thought I was strong, I really did. I felt so grateful and happy and then it hit me. It's over, this is done. She explained. It was emotional and I'd hoped so much that I could have been stronger but I'm an emotional girl and I'm passionate and that really came across on the stage, because I felt vulnerable every time."
Brooke White mentioned that the first song she sang was a bad choice but she had fun and she did her best in her performance. When asked how did she feel about her performances, she said she felt really good about her performances that was just over. Brooke White was happy and felt great about being the Top 5.
For the past couple of weeks she said she was thinking too hard and being really hard to herself. She finally decided just to enjoy it and really, anything that she did is going to sound cheesy, but all she wanted to do was for the people for the fans. She admitted she had the fun and she seriously did.
When she was asked about her two songs, Brooke said picking songs was a very difficult and very important thing to do.

I still find it difficult to believe that American Idol this season is already reaching the finale very soon next month. Last week from Top 5 to Top 4 now. Next week's theme is "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame". I keep on wondering trying to figure out who this songs they are going to sing will favor. Will the Top 4 choose the right songs to perform on Mat 3, 2008?
