The results are expected to be announced tonight and I have read from the Star online that radio stations have begun offering SMS service about the 12th General Ellections to all listeners.
To check live elections results for radio station listeners, just key in AMPK new IC number and just click the send button to 33333. The service is available until 15th. March 2008. You will be charged RM0.50 foreach sms.
Radio stations such as MY FM, ERA, and a few other stations will also air hourly on updates of the elections and results.
Other than the radio stations, over tv channels on RTM1 and RTM2 will be having a special election programme called Malam Keputusan PRU 12 from around 7pm onwards. Both of the channels mentioned will also feature scrolling bars with details of the winning parties and breakdown of votes through the night.
As for TV3 viewers, this tv channel will also broadcasts the latest updates on campaign trails, crossovers at various places in Malaysia such as Kepala Batas, Kota Baru, Kuala Terengganu, Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
Over NTV 7 Edition News at 8pm, they will feature live crossovers from PWTC in Kuala Lumpur, Dewan Masyarakat Penyayang, Penang and EC in Putrajaya. A special four-hour programme about the Malaysia Votes 8.30pm will be aired too over NTV7 and highlights of the latest results of the 12th General Elections.
Over astro Channel 301, AEC will broadcast four hours of live coverage on the election result announcement to public. The programme in Mandarin, language will be aired from 8.35pm to 12.30am.
